Wife and daughters asked what id like for Christmas. Said pulleys would do. They all looked at me like I was some sort of simpleton. :duh:

Still not sure when I'll actually get these. I'm traveling for work next week, and probably when they'll show up, so I'll be able to ship them out the week before Christmas then. Hopefully they work considering I'm entirely going off of @Wynnded measuring and have never seen one in person hahaha

It's all good! I'll get them when they're ready. Just funny how my girls looked at me:drool:

At least if it's screwed up it's 4 bolts and you're fixed unlike the 1900.

So, I’m not sure if Santa put me on his nice list this year, or he’s letting the grinch prank me… Just got this from FedEx :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

    F66EE9B4-7DED-4D3C-9801-293033793C57.jpg

I called Whipple before I ordered and they said 8-12 weeks. In a follow up email, my expected ship date was 2/15
    :annoyed:

I guess I’ll find out in a few days if this thing ships soon. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but it ain’t easy! All I can think is :yes::yes:

Have any of you guys ported out your cylinder heads? While everything is apart I thought about getting it done, but I don't know if there is that much benefit.

I've never done it, but I want to. Increasing flow increases HP, whether it's worth the costs for what you get is another story. Would be very interested to see any before / after numbers on the 3UR cylinder head flow rates to see what's possible.

Well, just got off the phone with my machine shop, he said about a week to 10day, so I think I'm going to have it done. I will replace the valve springs to a heavy duty set, the valves have 30k miles, so the should be okay. We will vacuum test the valves first for leaks, just to be sure.

Any chance they have a flow bench and can get some before and after numbers? Are you upgrading to the Manley springs that XAT sells?

    Are you doing aftermarket cams?

    Many on the way.
The 3UR heads are quite healthy in the flow department, 295 cfm @ .5”… but there’s always room for more. The 2UR GSE F engine heads flow 11% over that, and the 2nd gen 467hp version likely flows even more. Unfortunately, the entire port is raised up, but with boost and traditional porting trucks, there’s more in the 3UR. All of the aforementioned is through the same size valves.

Don’t forget the 2UR GSE titanium and stainless valves.

I might be mistaken but I thought @ViktorG tested cams but found no benefits.

    Too many mods to come
Did this on a few cars. The 4valve head mod motors flow very well. Same goes for our heads but any clean up is definitely beneficial. I’d leave the cams stock for our PD blowers. But that’s just many take and my plan from what I’ve seen.

You guys want to see my collection of ass fluid? I enjoy collecting it, especially since @snivilous thinks it’s weird. Not sure exactly but I think this is probably 12-14k miles worth.
