Just got home and opened up the XAT pulleys. Looks good now to get time to throw them in.

Not sure of any other components that could be causing the issue. I only bring it up because this was causing a leak for me, but not at idle, only under load. Boost was leaking before the injectors, but not causing the typical vacuum leak in other situations. Resulting in strange fuel trim behavior and super-rich readings under throttle and a lean spike coming off throttle.

Get some MAF cleaner and use the straw spraying around the intake runners.

Here you can see the bolt on the left that wasn't threading all the way down, compared to the bolt on the right that was fully bottomed. It was just about flush with the housing, but wasn't applying any pressure when torqued. I think only the weight of the SC was keeping it sealed until any boost blew past it.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    yes...but physics prevented said test.

see I was laying under the truck & the Blackstone kit was up on the shelf.

Gumption prevented me from getting up.

    I'll run it next time.

Maybe that's what I have going on ... at least it's another thing to check. Dousing the area in MAF spray didn't yield any results...

Was hoping that would pinpoint the cause. So then as @armyoffoo stated: The weight of the SC can be keeping it sealed until it's under pressure. Sometimes you just have to start from scratch. Happened to me...

Yeah, I'm thinking its not going to be a total re-do tho - I think all that might be needed is to remove the fuel rails to get access to the s/c bolts and first check for torque/drive depth. If the s/c isn't sat/mounted properly, it's gonna be really obvious, right?

Also - worth mentioning ... when I opened up the supercharger to tap-out the stripped bolt holes, i removed the intercooler and saw quite the pool of oil inside... I mopped all that up, but seemed excessive to me.

I'm questioning the dealership who said they cleaned it after it blew. Was it milky? I'd question the install too.

I won't speak for any other version but if the guts look like what's in my photos, I'd return it. I purchased mine in July of this year. Hopefully it's been updated since then.

Haha, share your findings with the class! If you have similar results, perhaps with enough of us we can get RE to do the right thing and exchange for working models.

Full transparency, my exhaustion and lack of time got the best of me and I ignored the issue during installation and it came back to bite me. Hopefully, not the case for you, but I had to remove mine and chase the holes to get them fully seated and clamping down on the SC again. I checked each hole depth with my calipers, chased and verified I could thread each bolt all the way in.

It looks like the only distinguishable difference from the outside is that the new ones have a recessed logo. (Bottom pic is from my truck)

Yikes. Well, I may have to check that next. I just checked the s/c bolts into the intake and several of them were little more than finger tightened. So, got everything snugged right. but looks like the issue is still present in the data - but I'll be honest... I don't really know what I'm looking at. If I didn't know any better, the system looks pretty ok. Do you guys see anything? I'm glad to send more shots of other data.

Or, any more ideas on where to look for this leak...

You are running rich! Where your tracking line is - 0 throttle and lambda is 0.813 for banks 1/2 - that's an AFR of 11.9 assuming your commanded AFR is 14.6. Your Wideband lambda is indicating 11.3. Have you or someone else looked at your tune?

I wonder if something is wrong with your MAF sensor and if the tune is setup for your current fuel injectors, such as correct injector constant.

Makes sense as it involves both banks. You could post up your injector setpoints from hpt. Some are running the dw 650's and can compare if your off. You should reach out to your tuner to recheck the calculations.

Yeah, I've been working with OTT and that's what they've been telling me too. It' just on me to figure out the leak before we can take the tune any further.

Interesting - a vacuum leak should lean out, not run rich. I'm curious what your tune looks like, such as the voltage/air density and injector constant. With the AFR being linear and not having codes, I would infer the tune is suspect.

Good idea! now I just have to figure out how to find my injector setpoints :)

I think I'm going to first check the gap between the intake and around the s/c with feeler gauges to see if there is an appreciable difference between sides... my thinking is that if the s/c has been mounted all funky (causing bolts to be at torque spec but not reaching the full depth) I'm going to be able to see that in how it sits. Unless the bolt holes got filled with some garbage...

Yeah, I've been considering going back to the tuner also and asking for a re-review of the files ... or if there's anything else in the data that they can use to point me in the right direction...

If you want I can throw together a basic tune really fast and see if it runs any different than their tune.

Sent you a message, I just need the stock tune file emailed over. I'll just adjust the "bare minimum" of parameters and you can see if the AFR reacts.
