Design will be the hardest part, but no reason to reinvent the wheel...maybe Harrop or another manufacturer would be kind enough to share their manifold flange dimensions if asked nicely. I'll see if I can find anything this week while it's slow.

Yeah, if anyone has a decent 3D scanner and the stock manifold or a supercharger lying around, that might work.

I'll look into it, it should be pretty easy. I have a laser scanner I got a few weeks ago, and worst case the intake geometry isn't very complicated so good ole calipers would work. I had been thinking during all the water meth conversations a spacer for water meth or nitrous would be cool. I had also thought about a spacer with a secondary intercooler brick, but that'd probably get pretty thick.

I'll check it out, hardest part is me not being lazy since I'll have to pull the blower :D

Jeez, I was thinking you could get to it in a month or so, if you had the time! :eek2: We could etch quotes on them, like "Drive Fast, Take Chances."

Conservative mentality, but I can understand. Pulleys are easy to swap and blow up your stuff, then they'd have to listen to the complaints and blaming.

 hahahaha, no. I should be able to get a quote from the machinist I use tomorrow, maybe even tonight. If it takes more than an hour to design a pulley of all things something is wrong. Even the intake spacers we're talking about, longest part there will be scanning everything. I design WAY more complicated shit on a daily basis :p

That should do the trick. Size ideas? Copy the Harrop at 80/75/70? I'm hesitant to offer more than 3 options, since I had four options for the 1900 and no one bought the 2.100" size. People seem to want a little bump, a little more, or a huge bump.

Yea, I've never asked so not sure what the added cost would be. Anodizing usually likes large batch stuff since you have to fill the whole tank either way. Similarly to machining in that regard, where it's almost the same price to do one part as a whole bunch. At the small scale I have stuff made that then turns into a large contribution of the part cost. But if I get one or two dozen made it might not be much, I'll ask.

The 77.5 on the 2650 is the ticket for sea level, just sayin!

Ultimately, I'd be interested in whichever is the smallest that the masses deem adequate as long as it's not overspinning the blower. I think that maybe @Silver17 posted some numbers that I think were for the Harrop. I suppose that we could assume to some degree that the Magnuson would be in the same neighborhood. The 4psi that I was seeing today is wholly inadequate to the 7-8 I was seeing before.

The closest to the 2.0 on the 1900 would be a 70mm on the 2650. It’s just a touch more than the 2.0 in a 1900. Harrop also offers a 65mm if you’re looking to go a little more wild. A 65mm on a 2650 is still spinning under 15k RPM at a 6200rpm redline, so the blower still has several thousand RPM of headroom from its max RPM.

Side notes about my install last night.

The RCF TB bolts right up with an adapter, as should be expected. I have a URD one, and I didn't realize it when I ordered it, but it narrows down in the transition from the TB to the blower. As it was designed for the 1900, that makes sense. I now see that the Prospeed adapter does not do this and in their instructions they outline boring out the lip of the inlet to the 1900. I haven't read (or don't recall) what that inlet measure then becomes. What I do know is that I measured my TB and the 2650 inlet and came up with this:

    Inlet:

    PXL_20231118_215054014.RAW-01.MP.COVER.jpg

    Outlet:

    PXL_20231118_215121834.RAW-01.MP.COVER.jpg

    Blower inlet:

    PXL_20231118_214948438.RAW-01.MP.COVER.jpg

Logically, getting the Prospeed adapter seems like the hot tip, but I'd like to know it's ID; or if there might be one specifically for this upgrade already or maybe even in the reasonable future.

The other item that I thought might be of interest is the Throttle Body Bypass element. I live where it gets cold and do not do the bypass. But on the RCF TB, the inlet/outlet are in a different location. For what it's worth, the upgrade instructions have you running one new hose if using the stock TB. No big deal, right? But with the RCT TB the stock hoses can be retained. Minor thing I know. But the issue that I did encounter was that there was a slight clearance conflict for one of the hoses, actually for the hose clamp. There are two ways that I found to deal with this:

    PXL_20231118_215654163.RAW-01.MP.COVER.jpg

I could get the hose on, but couldn't slide the clamp past the bulge and the tab (why's that even there). So naturally I ground the protruding tab off. Only later did I realized that I could also unbolt the TB then fit the hose and clamp, then reinstall the TB.

Placing the 2650 was easier than the 1900 with the 2650's top half being removed as per the instructions. It's much lighter that way, I had to borrow a forklift to remove the 1900 , the 2650 I was able to place by hand with no assistance.

And as I may have already mentioned, that fricking back bolt on the passenger side up by the firewall isn't any easier to reach.

I can add the whipple sizes to this list too later on, but I don't know them off hand. Figured I would make this as a reference for pulley sizes to eliminate guesswork in comparing them. It may be worth adding to the first post @snivilous.

This is for the 1900, is it the one you have? Out of curiosity, what's it's ID? If it's underfoot I don't want you injuring yourself?

Though I could open the bore up on my lathe, but that seems like a shame. Or you could send me dimensions for the bolt pattern and I can have a throttle body adapter made for as big as you want like a handful of people on here have done. This adapter is actually from @reywcms since it didn't fit the Whipple, and instead I sent him a Whipple to RCF adapter. And if @armyoffoo can get the GM 90mm throttle body working, that'd be the real money play.

PSB-1 is powered up and Map sensor relocated. Just waiting to find the time for the bung to be installed and then I can run the harness and connect the sensor for some AFR action. I envy you guys with so much free time.

There is nothing behind the firewall in that spot so a great place to mount the map sensor. I could feel another metal panel behind where I drilled with maybe an inch of open space back there between the two panels.

I don't see how the bolt pattern would be any different than any other RCF-1900 adapter, identical to what you have. I'm using the same adapter as was on the 1900 with a transition from 86mm to 76mm, the bore would just need to be larger. The RCF TB is 86mm and the 2650 inlet is 90mm. Unless I'm missing something obvious....
