You could use VHB tape if you dont want to drill

Good call. I may go that route if anyone can't confirm I'm good to drill there. The screws I'd be using are just long enough to secure it and would probably only go 1/4" into the metal.

Not to dissuade you from mounting to the bulkhead, as I almost went that route, but I ended up mounting mine on the IC reservoir.

I was looking at that exact method while scouting for a location under the hood. Another good spot.

Ha ha. Mine was mounted with zip ties as well since the supplied vacuum line isn't more than a foot long. I was pretty limited at the time with what I could do.

I've drilled quite a few holes though the firewall. Mostly for wire runs with grommets. I don't believe there are any lines on the back side of the firewall in that location. Mine is an 07 so not sure if things have changed. To the left of the center dash there are some servos for the vents. But you have a decent .5 inch from backside. Mine has the carpeting and can't see any wire runs or piping.

    Random.

I don't think that the camera really accurately shows the differences, for example, the angles of the inlets look much more different than the really are.

@Wynnded , did you go thru the upgrade process with Maggy? Notice anything more amazing vs the 1900? Delivery-wise?

Yes, mine was the upgrade kit. No, not yet. I did the install yesterday at the workplace and only drove it the mile home. We got enough wet and heavy snow that there was no point in even considering any comparisons. The blower is very quiet though. When I was running it up to temp to check for leaks, the only things I could hear were the burble of the exhaust and the ticking of the injectors.

Looks like quite a few of us are running the TVS2650. Now we just need to get some vendors rolling on some pullies! I haven't heard back from SCOL at this point been approx 3 weeks since I first touched base with them :notsure:

You had a busy day! Yes the 2650 is quiet but once you get into the power band she does start to sing the whine.....
Can really see the substantial size difference in pullies here! What size were you running on the TRD? Need more of that for the 2650! Lol

I just tried to send @snivilous a bunch of measurements. ;)

That was Sniv's 2.0 pulley, the smallest available.

It looks like the new blower doesn't have provisions for the wire harness clip retainer to screw into it...how do they address this, or is it just left hanging?

Correct, and there was no mention of how to deal with that in the instructions. The harness on my truck doesn't really move at all, which creates other difficulties (like access to that rear mounting bolt), so I just left it alone.

Yep, no one does small like Sniv!

Best to keep it in the forums, not a big fan of these companies that can care less about the Tundras. Plus your pullies just look bad ass imo lol

Forum is the only place I sell anything, unless word of mouth travels elsewhere. Sniv Speed Shop isnt even a side hustle, it's purely for fun.

And that's good you think the pulleys look bad ass, I was thinking of getting them coated but raw is cheaper, less lead time, and personally I think looks cool and stands out from other stuff out there. I need a few more measurements from @Wynnded but I'll get it drawn up today and sent out for quote. The Magnuson has a lot of real estate so I'll get some cool stuff etched on the front too :D

Personally I can't wait! I'm at a standstill here until I can swap pulleys and get to tuning. I just need to figure out the fine line of size to run with the kits upgraded injectors and stock FFV pump for a good baseline. Then I'll more then likely jump injectors and FP, smaller pulley and another tune for power making lol...... Currently Im looking for documentation on the stock flex fuel pump for I'm not sure how much fuel they pump out

@snivilous , I just thought about something missing from our setup, plenum spacers! Seems everyone else has them, except for Tundras. What would a 1" spacer between the blower and heads cost to get machined? I think there's more than enough room under the hood to accommodate, and would only need a longer belt and mounting bolts to make it work. When I had one on my SC'd Tacoma it increased low end torque and was a popular mod with the supercharged group.

Plus, would give a nice sneaky way to inject something post-rotors, i.e. Water/Meth or Nitrous...if you could get quotes for the spacers with one 1/8npt port per runner on the valley-side of the spacer as an option.

Magnuson 2650 w/76mm pulley, ADS suspension, 35's, misc overlanding bro-trophies
The person I talked to at SCOL a few days ago said their pullies were 2 weeks out but they didn't know what sizes were available.

Magnuson said they're happy with the stock pulley and weren't going to offer any others.

This would probably be a super worthwhile mod from everything I read. That and while the blower is off, insulate the bottom of it as well. Probably pricey to have machined though I imagine. Also, not sure how hard that is to design, although maybe Sniv has some fancy equipment for measuring up the dimensions.

When I talked to Magnuson the rep said they have one pulley available. Reference # 57-99-08-029. He told me to call the service department and they could ship it out. Seemed all to sketchy and a trap so I dropped it lol..... Plus at 2.9 that's a 73.66mm pulley which seems way to small for my current application.
