I saw Brian Zacuto who owns SCOL responding to questions about the tundra mag 2650 and he said smaller pulleys are available. I’d hit them up.

Absolutely agreed! I'm currently running @snivilous 2.2 — at 6,300 ft I saw a 3psi bump, with an average 2.5psi increase - went from ~4psi to ~6.5psi. Truck feels a lot less anemic. Looking forward to that 2.0!

I haven't really opened it up since the 2.2 pulley and 4.5 intake. It's dry today so will upload @snivilous new tune and see where we're at.

I poked about on their website for a moment, but couldn't discern exactly which pulley(s) was(were) applicable for the Magnuson Magnum. FWTW

When I talked to SCOL about smaller pullies for the 2650, they said it was too new, no idea what they'd use.

I talked to our contact at Magnuson and we're looking at doing a run of 3.2" pullies, which would be 81mm (stock/default is 86mm)

Looks like ZPE carries a slew of pullies..... But not sure what TVS kit the Tundra falls under:confused:

That is correct, Magnuson states warranty is invalid if a smaller pulley is used.... I'm going to reach out and and ask about the guys running the kit at high elevation. 86mm may be great at sea level but up here it's no bueno lol

Best guess as to what that might yield, +2-3 psi?

Got @snivilous tune loaded and headed out before the rain starts up again. I was hitting about 10.7psi before 2.2 pulley and 4.5 intake. I do have an ASP overdrive pulley and LT with full 3 inch dual exhaust with 200 cell single cats. I hit 11.4psi and it was pulling nice and strong! Even with 4.5 intake MAF hit 4.92v.
I hit an on ramp that is a little over 1/4 mile and went WOT but I hit a wet spot and it shifted right when I went over it and started spinning and fishtailing...Fun times. All in all it runs great and have an awesome tuner that aims to get it right!!!! Thank you @snivilous

@HulkSmurf14 I have the tune on the rich side for protection and am also spraying, just re-adjusted from 10psi, W/M at a 70/30 mix at 9psi to aid in cooling. At some point when I get off my butt and sell my house to get away from Seattle/Tacoma area I'll start on a forged build, built transmission and replace my Auburn with Powertrax... Hopeful thinking!

I went to go throw a zip tie on my boost line supply from SC and it was split. Guess I'll have to recheck it. May be a little more psi. Of course it's raining again!

The W/M pump fits just aft of the airbox. I also wired in a switch to shut off fuel pump, IC pump, inside fuel psi gauge and AFR/boost gauge. Gotta come up with a wire management system.

That is extremely cool! How is the water meth activated? Is it stand alone or controlled by the gauge or something else?

You guys pushing a lot of power are super cool and fun to watch. I think it'd be a lot of fun to have a Tundra dedicated to maximizing the power stock internals can handle for street use. Maybe when I get a tow rig to replace the Tundra some day.

@snivilous my brother gave me his meth/water kit. But the tank was broke the controller was fried and nozzle was trashed. The pump was good though.
I am utilizing the W/W tank with a 70/30 mix. I'm using a Snow activation switch #81014, which is full flow, and a 325cc aem nozzle. Activated by boost sensor at 9psi but is adjustable. It's the smallest nozzle and only want it for cooling at the higher psi. You don't want it set low as it can bog the engine under 3000rpm. I added a green activation light so I know when it's doing its thing.

    <Cannon Fodder>
As I was driving home Sunday from the lake…
I was pondering all the mods to this truck….well, really really, the wife asked why I do all this crap to the truck*.

My summary is - everything I’ve done to this truck has been perfection.

Blower – everything about it. Everything. The cherry on top is the ease in upgrading (pulley) It’s the Jekyll/Hyde nature of this thing. It’s damn quiet till you hit the gas. It doesn’t affect mileage till you hit the gas. <I got 19.2mpg on the 93 mile trip Conroe to South Houston – small tailwind)

Caltracs traction bars–once you pass the adj phase - perfection

TRD Exhaust – only loud when you want it to be. No drone.

Gauges - AFR & Boost with a Cravenspeed mount – is monitoring perfection. Add in the SG3 on the left side of the steering wheel (cravenspeed mount)& bam….even better.

Brightbox fog mod – bright light perfection

Hot-tails tail light mod…super bright tail light perfection

OPT-7 rear brake light bar – super bright. I love the Reverse lights.

The only thing that has been lackluster – the center console wireless charger. I don’t use it since I use Carplay.

This is where I say – “I’ll stop the mods here, because I'm now satisfied”, and then continue doing shit.

I’m watching all y’alls intake mods with eager eyes. Or…let’s just get busy doing a built block with 900hp + mondo transmission. Harrop 3100 needs me.

*Her automotive perspective is a Tesla Model S Plaid. Which is like driving a big iPhone. It’s perfect in every imaginable way. The world is flat to her.

Alright so I was able to get some info on pullies for the TVS 2650. SCOL said that they are looking into it but the cone nose may be to small for a smaller pulley?! I was confused by that statement. ZPE does not carry any pullies yet for the TVS. They said if I shipped them my stock 86mm they could fab some up that would work for our application. Magnuson confirmed changing the pulley will void the warranty..... Don't matter if your a mile high, on the moon in a black hole shits voided. Good news is they do have a 2.9 pulley but it isn't shown on there website. Was told I could order through sales. Part number for said pulley is as follows, 57-99-08-029. He said it'll produce around 3/4 more psi fyi

Well, I guess it’s clear SCOL was wrong if they don’t think you can run a smaller one but Magnuson tells you there is a 2.9” pulley a available. 2.9” is like a 73.5ish MM pulley which would normally not be advised for most to run at sea level, but if you’re at elevation then it’s probably fine? Hopefully they will offer smaller than that at some point, since that’s still less flow than Snivs 2.0 on a 1900 by a good margin, as well as the smaller Harrop offerings (65/70mm) on their 2650.

Maybe you can order that pulley through SCOL using that part number to prevent magnuson from being aware you have a smaller than stock pulley installed if issues arise.

Mines the flex fuel although I did get the non flex kit with pump. Pump wasn't changed and the injectors with kit were the greens, not exactly sure of the CC's for the bill of sale shows "high flow". Will have to inquire with Magnuson on exact specs
