@mZiggy could you measure the snout opening? Didn't see in specifications if it's just 76mm or hopefully larger for bigger throttle body. Thanks.

New battery same issue. Thoroughly stumped. Truck cranks and has idles a few seconds up to 1500 rpm then stalls. Lots of threads with similar issues but none of the fixes working.

I'll probably start a new thread for this when back home. Sorry to clutter the s/c space

$14xx before taxes. I have a buddy at the local dealer that has always been really great and mod-friendly, and he is getting me a super good price on their labor. Ordinarily it would've been $2400 lol...

    Fresh install

That's not bad all.... congrats on the new boost and labor price!!!!

It would be so worth having an experience person knock out the install for that price.

The only draw back is that I think I may still be inclined to do the labor myself or w/a friend helping, so that I learn more about the system and can better troubleshoot and repair down the road when issues come up.

It's early for me, so I'm not sure if my delivery/intention was clear on that message... I'm not saying you're doing something wrong by having it done 'professionally'; just sharing considerations and thoughts that I've bounced around in my own brain during my considerations of these types of upgrades/mods

Lol I didn't take it badly, and I absolutely understand the sentiment of wanting to be involved in the process.

For me, I'm on a bit of timetable personally and figured it was basically unbeatable to get nearly 50% off the price while having their 32 year master tech install it, and this particular dealer warranties all their work...was pretty much a no-brainer for me.

When I installed my Twin Turbo kit on my Tacoma (which I eventually sold), I had it done at a different shop that fucked up so many things that by the time it was running right, I knew the kit inside and out from all my own repairs, so your concerns are definitely valid.

Plus, if you're anything like me; about 30 minutes in you would've broke some shit and created a whole new language for the neighbors to learn... and eventually would've had to tow it to a shop to get the install completed anyhow :D

Also could be fuel control module. Although you'll usually get just a crank with no start but who knows. Fuel flow from supu good?

Why? It's like 4 bolts, if it takes longer than 15 minutes to install something is wrong.

Maybe mine will come in before the Friday pickup and I'll get it installed and tuned....probably wishful thinking, will the belt that Harrop sends for the 80mm pulley be OK for the 77.5 or do we need to source a shorter one

It might, I’m probably one of the closest to Harrop assuming it’s coming from Ohio so I may get mine a little sooner. If the belt works for the 80mm I can’t imagine a pulley with a .05” smaller radius/.31” smaller circumference should matter much assuming there is some play with the tensioner still.

Getting these Kooks to stop leaking at the mid pipe is becoming a pita. I got two joints to stop and gained ~1psi lol.. saw 12.1 on the way home from work.

Edit: A Kia EV6 GT (320hp) also saw some Tundra tail lights at the same time

Yep, I did my Harrop pulley swap in 14 minutes, even with the blue Loctite and a torque wrench.

I wonder what Harrop's perspective is, with them actually offering smaller pulleys.

As long as blower speed stays under 18k there is no issues.

Unless you are running a larger lower and a 65 upper or revving the engine more than 6800 you won't get outside the warranty rpm.
