The hose over the supercharger is going to be replaced. I had to swap hoses to get my pump over away from my transmission cooler. I’m just going to wait for my catch can and see how it all hooks up before I buy anything.

ZPhilip You can install the 80 without this intake but if you want to get the full benefits it’s recommended! It was quiet expensive! Also if you are running the stock fuel rails you have to drill and tap in a fitting for the fuel pressure regulator line.

    agreed.

the MAF will hold you to under 500whp.

the graphs I posted above is about the safest you can go on stage 2 without making changes to airbox. mine is stock - RIGHT NOW.

I bet it’s badass still though with the 80! Does your nannies kick in a lot? If I don’t use them it just lights them up!

    the nannies ride shotgun!

it will not keep traction without them. I just hate when it cuts power.

will try some non-adult runs in the morning.

Yeah I hate it to! Caltracs didn’t help it? Probably helps more for axle wrap.

Caltracs work well. awesome customer service.

    ZERO wheel hop.

differential does not move under load.

    NOT for off-roading. no articulation.

    I've changed a u-joint in a previous lifetime....never again.

naw man. That tube is dead on

how did you tune around it?
D3 said it’s a monster to tune around the larger tube using the same MAF.

How much better is your stage 1 than the one I posted?

    I’m intrigued

    I think Q1-22 I’ll punch it up a tad

that intake is my first answer to the question I have yet to ask.

I’m just remotely tuning it with no dyno. Been doing all kinds of data logs. So I don’t know what hp I’m at but it’s much stronger!

My stock air box tune ran flawlessly! No hiccups at all. This Prospeed intake tune is a tad bit rich for safety until we can get all the adjustments to fine tune it with the pulley. He said we still have more adjustments in timing and other things we can make for even more power. Hell it’s unbelievable now for a Crewmax with a 85 on it.

Got a call from Peterson Performance and they’ve moved up my install date, for those following along. December 9th is the day! Just in time for me to take unsuspecting coworkers for a ride to the liquor store during the company Christmas party. This should be fun.

    2022 Diderot list:

    Prospeed airbox
    Transmission valve body thing
    nice AFR & boost gauges

This should bring me to the precipice of what the stock block can handle. sorta.

    then:
some mondo brakes to stop this bitch.

I should note that I have all of y'all to thank for this crap.

    I'll add:

taking the leaf springs off/on will kick your ass. having a 20yr old to help is advised. <oh, and have a yayo (bearing) press avail>

it will take a few days to figure out the proper tension. It's easy.

I go a tad past the 1/4 turn because the road into our warehouse is LUNAR. and the bars will clatter when the diff bounces. extra tension remedies that.

once dialed in, I have yet to fiddle with them.

HOWEVER....make sure you properly torque all the leaf spring U bolts and such.....then, go back a day later and torque again. Heed this advice.

    ____

So, today's 0-60 run was a flop. the traction bars did their thing, but fog had a thin coating of smeg on the street. The tires would NOT hook up.

for the record - I'm doing one 3sec push of the nanny button.

advice - make sure they have the flam-o-gadget to take out the fuel pump from the tank. it's a special wrench from Toyota.

My shop had to go get it from toyota - you flex fuel boys didn't need to do this.

I am living vicariously through you. I would really like a stage 2 supercharged Sequoia but given the area and traffic I drive in, there are not many opportunities for me to open up the throttle.

    I hear you.

it is quite the challenge to find a safe spot. I have a couple of wide "farm to market" roads. but traffic is the challenge.

pulling onto an on-ramp is viscous. 70mph comes very quick.

Stop being a bitch and put it in 4wd and yeet that skeet :D

You'll never get a good 0-60 time in 2wd, no way to put the power down unless you have slicks and weight maybe.

    using a app called "FastR"

    4hi 0-60 5.58sec

    i only got to 3/4 pedal. damn. I think I can do a 5.3

no loss of traction. it just went. hat tip to @snivilous

just a violent takeoff. I was not expecting it to just shit & get.

It could be faster - I think the 1-2 shift is the Achilles heel. it still feels mechanically soft. way better than un-tuned stage 1 tho'.
<I'm parlaying a new valve body from IPT here - I 'm giving a thumb's up in the general direction of the fellla that threw that mod on the board>

2-3 pulls very hard - it's deep in the TQ band at this point.

I don't know how a TRX holds it together. doesn't it run in the high 3's?

    Scanguage:

IGN is normally 30 it went to 12 whatever that means.

AFR went to 11.9 almost instantly - it must sense pedal position?

no nannies kicked in. which is nice. the motor did it's thing & made glorious noises.

You know when the Dr. tells you to say ahhhh....just put a W in front of that. that's what it sounded like.

I'm thankful for this forum & it's childish influence and stewardship to rodding.

it is the comic relief to life's epic.

now, I have to go prepare for a board meeting that happens next week.

    If I can do a better 0-60 time - I'll post.
