@Geego If you are not installing it yourself, finding a competent tuner and/or installer is probably the worst part. Blower bypass is pretty good at not disrupting normal MPGs when not in boost but it does delete gas when you mash the pedal.

Looks a little janky but trying out a inline filter since the walbro/ti 450 bypasses the OEM one. This is a 10 micron metal filter with 5/16 quick disconnects on both ends so it can sit in between the regular fuel lines without modification. Will see how this works over time!

 

That fits in there and looks good! Thought of a 10 micron but installed a 30 micron. Should look and see if I can get a 10 as I installed 6an lines.

 

Looks way better than the janky 1970s looking filter that uses two hose clamps per side that URDs "kit" came with

It’s a nice place, but I have to say I really was expecting gold countertops.

On the stillen box yes, still pulls from the fender area as well. The tube i got is still 3”.

 

Makes me wonder if there might be a little something missing?

 

Stillen will sell it on its own you just need to contact them. I was in communication with them but just before I ordered @M3Tundra-JK said he had the parts laying around. Not sure how much stillen would sell it for separately.

 

Ok installed the washer tank relocation and the stillen tube. Some may recall the prospeed box was always at least 60+ above ambient. After sealing it off I was locked at 30 above ambient.

Now with the stillen pipe 10-15 above ambient. In traffic less heatsoak and within 4 blocks down to 10-15 above ambient. Pretty happy with that. Did a few pulls and temp didn’t move while on the freeway. Boost held solid at 8.2 lbs. Note that this won’t work with the radium catch can single mount so need to move to the double mount.

 

That's a pretty serious drop in temps from the original state of the box!

I'm now open to trades for the supercharger kit. Took the 3.8L JK up to the mountains today and it's so sluggish! Def needs gears, but would be cool to drop a HEMI in it. Looking for an aluminum block 6.4, but I know that's a stretch for trading.

 

I'm thinking something is wrong, the build it self had to be over 60k.
