Double checking dimensions then sending part prints out for quote for @reywcms Whipple to RCF adapter, which will eventually evolve into Whipple to GM adapter...

Except for the 98% of the time that it's a complete pile of shit  yesterday I was trying to mirror a subassembly to another side of an assembly, and it would not for the life of it put it in the right spot. I even added the second subassembly manually and added reference axis and planes and mirrored the first one again just to make sure I wasn't crazy, and it always ended up 1/2" too high. Like wtf

If you already have the dimensions, can you also get quotes for a GM TB on Harrop? Pretty please? :D

I bought one of these to go with the signal converter I ordered, the mount is the only missing piece...I was going to hack up some aluminum I had laying around, but would prefer something professional.

I haven't done any Harrop stuff so would need some details. Does the Tundra throttle body bolt directly to the Harrop so I can just use the Tundra TB bolt pattern? Do you know what the Harrop inlet diameter is or what you'd want it to be (if you wanted to port it for instance)? I haven't pulled the GM TB dimensions yet, I'll need Rey to confirm the dimensions are the same as the ones I have once he gets his in. But all of those are fairly minor changes with the bulk geometry and machining operations being the same, so whatever this quote is shouldn't be far off for a Harrop to GM setup.

The stock Tundra TB does mount directly, I'll get some measurements and get back to you.

If you can get dimensions of the outer perimeter of the surface that the TB bolts to on the Harrop, then I can make the adapter sit (close to) flush so it'll look like a continuation of the Harrop and not so much a spacer just bolted in the middle. Like the outside of this Whipple adapter matches the Whipple profile, if it weren't for that then it could've been slimmed up a lot more.

The Mag and Harrop should be the same adapter since they're both made for the Tundra TB. As far as porting the blower snout that's a whole different animal

Hi does anyone have a post/pics/instructions on how they installed their Walbro/Ti 450 (274 model) in a non flex fuel setup? I’ve been trying to find a post with the search for a while and haven’t seen anything for general install. Just ordered one from Summit plus their install kit. Mostly curious about the wiring situation. Hoping to use stock wires/fuel lines but can replace if that’s required (seen conflicting posts on this).

Pretty sure I just used the factory plug and wired it to the pump. Been awhile. Also added some extra holes to the basket.

It was $125 per adapter and I ordered 3x, so figure around the same. That's out of raw 6061-T6.

URD has a write up that I followed for my original Aeromotive, and the Walbro I did the exact same thing. And all that really involves is cutting some slits in the fuel basket so you can run a zip tie (I used a metal one so it doesn't melt from the fuel) to hold the pump to the side (very fancy :D ), and then if the plug is different then just crimp the new plug onto the existing wires. The corrugated black line is the return as I recall, and the rubber line is high pressure fuel line and swapped out whatever the factory plastic line was and is just hose clamped to the outlet nipple on the pump and basket.

With that said, since I need to say it always now, your results may vary. Seems like half the people end up having some issue with the wiring doing what they want, but in the case of my 2008 non flex fuel it was extremely simple.

This is how I did my flex, then when the 450 failed I direct wired it using the oem as the relay trigger. No electrical problems, don't ask about the hoses :p
