Not necessarily because it’s lifted but due to the amount of travel it will have. 25”-28”

Other news on the build sorta, I finally downloaded the motec software from their website in order for me to view graphs/ maps/ logs etc. This will help me send info to the tuner if there ever is an issue and help facilitate remote tuning. If anyone goes down this route in the future here's the website: https://www.motec.com.au/m1-series-overview/m1s-software/

You'll want to download from the M1 section, "M1 Tune"

Yep that’s the current setup which is 16” up front and 19” rear.

I know them long travel setups aren't cheap, which route you leaning towards? Like extreme, remove part of the bed type of stuff or what?

    590 ain't 600+. By that metric I can say 590+ when I got 574. lol

edit, oops, that is tq, so it would be 550+ when I have 534.

Very true. I don't know if anything has changed since the last time i saw him post. He said he was doing 1000 cc injectors (seems like overkill) and E85. So i don't know maybe he broke that 600 mark.

The skeptical part for me isn't the numbers, it's the numbers on a stock engine. Would like to know what he is doing to avoid grenade town.

On Reddit he said that he's sold the truck. And fwiw, he also mentioned that his numbers were on stock sized tires.

I think the larger injectors are needed to support fueling for E85 since it is ~30% less energy dense than 93.

Sounds legit, same injector size I got on the flex fuel build.

Good stuff. I always want to learn something new. We don't really have E85 around here so i never really researched much about it.

Flex fuel tune is better than a straight E85 tune for that reason you mentioned. I've used this link below, click search and type in your zip. You may be surprised with how many E85 stations are in your area.

You try searching by your zip code? NVM there really only shows 2 on the whole state, that's hard to believe

I had an e85 tune on my 86, there were lots of stations claiming to have it, frequently I got there (none really close) and either they had none or it was e54, it was also more than 91 (highest we have)

So do you have to swap tunes if you can't find an E85 station?

Whatever this forum told me to do
    this...

and does your tune matter as to what % of Eth you are running?

    or does the ECU adjust?

I believe the prospeed setup with the Motec uses a GM Ethanol sensor and it reads and adjusts the tune on the fly as the ethanol content changes automatically. Pretty slick.
