    Too many mods to come

Everything is definitely much more accessible. Blower foot print is narrower also other observations larger heat exchanger radiator, larger intercooler fluid pump.

Introducing the absolute worst print out ever  but 490whp/572tq @ 9.6psi. 80F in the shop, 2600ft elevation. Magnuson with 2.0" pulley.

    PXL_20230519_221748436.jpg

I did three other runs but they were all less which dude said is normal since the engine heat soaks (though would've thought it was already heat soaked from driving for 45 minutes there?). Tried two tunes with modified optimum torque and cam timings, but since it was making less power after the first pull I couldn't really get an apples to apples comparison.

Kind of bummed it didn't break 500whp, but I'm sure it'd do that in the winter. Probably 610-620 at the crank? Respectable for 291k and a stock engine :D

Hell yeah, love torque curve of the 5.7s with boost. It’s like a diesel. These TTV6 fellas are always going on and on about the low range torque. They haven’t seen torque!

Just give them a call, I just spoke with one of the owners to get an update and they are trying to finalize the info/ prices pretty soon. That way you can establish a line of communication and ask them those detailed questions first hand. My price is most likely going to be different so I can't quote that, plus I don't know off hand.

Yes sir, that is it. Though as @Silver17 has pointed out the 450 is probably overkill, but in my case at least both the pump and injectors were pretty much plug and play and didn't have any side effects.

Probably because Whipple doesn’t want to deal with being responsible for providing the out of the box tune for it since it can be a PITA.

Hey Silver, are you using the supplied fuel pump that Harrop sends with a stage 2 or the 450? What tune also

Yes, it actually comes with the Harrop kit even without the “stage 2” components. I don’t think Harrop sells the stage 2 parts lumped together with the SC anymore due to EPA crap but you can still buy them separately which is really just the larger injectors, smaller pulley, and colder plugs. Mine is tuned by DAP and it runs well, but if I did it again I’d go with someone more readily available to help like OTT or something.

Looks great, I'm thinking if the installer needs the intake sticker to say remove a new installer is called for.

Does anyone know what plugs come with the generic magnuson kit (if any)? Is it recommended to switch those out if doing other modifications?

    I have these too.

I just drove my wife to get her hair did because both cars are getting detailed.

The Sequoia got hot. I had never seen above 210 & the needle on the dash gauge never moved above 1/4. It got slightly higher than the picture & up to 230.

It makes no sense breaking the nipple for the overflow would cause this, all I can think of is drilling to fit the repair nipple stopped the cap from sealing & not allowing the vacuum.

The overflow was bubbling, I found the Denso on Amazon for 209 so got it for 227.82.

    Any tips on the R&R?

No idea, besides fueling my setup is straight out of the box with a pulley on it and that's it.

We need a post that has all the Dyno results in one place so we can easily browse how everything compares.

I thought he meant the curve compared to like a Harrop  yes if you just meant raw torque @WCTXN I have a 2.0" pulley, stock is 2.45". It helps make up for the altitude I'm at plus a bit more juice
