Just found out at 1/4 tank I have wot starvation, drops to 20lbs for 3 seconds.

Verified by filling the tank, took 20 gallons.

 

Same.. fuel sloshing.

 

Ya, the hot tip is to avoid WOT launches at 1/3-1/2 tank due to the fuel sloshing away from the pump.

 

Where's that dislike button???

I have the 38.. I get fuel cutout around ~ 1/8 of tank.

 

because I'm generally not as mechanically aware as most of you guys....When Pietz told me to keep at least a half tank in it....I just did it.

I'm the kid that puts his tongue to the frozen pole. I was told that as well but had to see for myself.. sure enough.

 

MP62 is the current one. The tvs replaces it. Supposedly the mold for it got too worn down so they did a redesign to TVS. No love for the 4.0 yet

I had a '96 4runner. Brick shit house.

I read that the 3.4 was built for forced induction and is aviation certified.

I loved that truck.

 

Been looking and there's really no good v8 swap kits for it. But there are forged internals to rebuild it available. 350hp 4runner would be cool

26, most a tree can fit. I started looking into getting the larger tank & found it won't fit.

 

I had a 2001 as my first vehicle. A few years back bought a 98 limited to give back to my dad and we got a supercharger for it, and it's been sitting on the shelf for awhile now waiting for him to install it love 3rd gens

 

My first vehicle when I was 2 months shy of 16, was a brand new 1998 two door Tacoma. Before I moved to CO from TX in 2012, I had a 2001 4Runner limited but it was only 2WD. Had to sell it shortly after. Loved that thing!

 

The only vehicle that I've ever purchased brand new was a 1997 Tacoma Regular Cab V6 4x4.

After getting my current truck, the only vehicle I've ever had with A/C and power windows, I sold the Tacoma. The new owner put it on it's lid within two years totaling it.

Any input for installing AEM Wideband? Can bung go near where forward O2 sensors are? Any other issues to be aware of? Thanks

 

Based on the input here mine went in front of the secondary 02.

 

I'm putting mine in the header collector, same area as the front sensors would mount. Really anywhere after the merge, before the cats, at an angle where moisture won't collect on the sensor.

 

That's where I have mine, on the driver side, works well.

 

I'm planning in getting mine completed this week...but to access the DS, one needs to disconnect/remove the front prop shaft, right? Or has it been confirmed and agreed, the PS is sufficient? I know @snivilous used the PS as it appears far easier to do...long question short, which side or does it matter?

 

Mine is on the passenger side.
