I asked what the different packages were but didn’t get specific answers. He said their “550whp” package (whipple or Harrop) was 19k out the door. “Complete Build” ~60k, and turbo setup would be quite a bit more.

Leads me to believe those packages are WHP numbers. I may reach out to them to see what comes in the 750, they may be omitting parts from their build list.

I finally got around to cutting out the stock fuel pump plug and looking at the wiring, stock fuel pump wiring is on the right, this is a new roll of 14ga txl wire for comparison...non-FFV in case there is any difference.

And of course the battery is dead in my Micrometer, so this is the best I could do for an actual measurement ~1/16"

Yes, a company out of FL sells a stroker motor, with the Whipple supercharger they said it make over 1k at the Crank. It's a full race engine, cams, ported heads ect.

The 750 is the 2.3 Pulley on the Maggie blower, the PS intake, RCF throttle body, the full PS fuel system and AR long tube headers. The system makes 630 on the hub Dyno. I have the same set up but I didn't do the header's just yet. My last build lost a bit of power with the header's, I'm still on the fence about them.

Keith @ DD said on a SC headers lose power, which is why my new Doug Thorley long tubes are for sale.

That doesn’t make sense. Typically on blown applications you’ll gain. Or you’ll pulley up and see even more gains. Least that’s what I’ve seen on my previous positive displacement blower cars. But quick note is not all headers are created equal. Meaning I’ve seen brands not make power and lose but the good brands like kooks, stainless works and arh make significant gains

Part of the headers deal too is knowing how to tune the variable camshaft timing with the headers to get more power. That’s one thing Chris at Prospeed seems to understand well that other tuners probably don’t. Also ARH > JBA.

I've been trying to find a straight answer on LTH. Seems dependent on type (tri "y" vs 4 in one) and runner length post collector. From what I've seen the LTHs make more power on the top end near and at WOT. Tri "Y" tend to make more power low to mid rev range. If that is true with Tundra seems mixed with results which could point to a bunch of other variables possibly tune related.

I'm on the fence with them with the emissions/CEL issues people tend to have with them. For the price they also tend to be expensive for the HP delivered. I think the comment someone posted some pages back about less restriction may make them worth will from a longevity perspective.

I had a CEL on my last build with them, I used the O2 simulator from URD and it worked great.

Who's got a SC on their Tundra in the Orange County, CA area? Can I come ride in your truck pretty please? I want to feel what an SC is like before I start attempting to convince my wife we "need" it.

Chris Delgado is the absolute man when it comes to tuning. He may work for ProSpeed but he tunes for different shops all over the place. Often times you'll see cars posted in different places doing stupid numbers and if you read the build sheet you'll see Chris' name popup as the tuner.

agreed, pretty neat what's out there for these engines, like the tundra_swat guys on insta with that turbo tundra that's making like 1500HP. they got a cam kit that supposedly adds 50-70HP depending on the setup, but started around $2400 US.
