Can’t go wrong with either. If time isn’t of the essence wait until the new maggy comes out. I’ve got an eager buyer for mine so i may go to the whipple since the maggy maybe a bit

I would sell it for the right price, but I don't know if that would ever happen. If the right buyer comes along great, if not I'll just keep adding to the beast.

I thought about rolling the box down there, but I'd never get it back up the driveway lol.

They don't send out adjusters anymore, at least with State Farm Insurance. My options were to tow it to the shop for an estimate, or submit pictures for a virtual estimate first. If they don't decide to total it from the pics, then it's tow to shop for additional estimates. I should know more by Wednesday

Also I doubt I'll keep the truck if they decide to repair it. First it's gonna take forever for parts to come in. I'd probably just trade it in for something else at that point.

Stock Magnuson kit on 2018 here. Had OTT tune the truck and am very happy with what they did. John was very helpful and the process was smooth. The truck runs great. I’m left with wanting more unfortunately. I’m familiar with what some of the next options are (pulley, injectors, larger fuel pump, possibly LTH, fuel rails, etc.) Not exactly sure what everyone’s route was. What routes did you guys go? And what was the subsequent HP/TQ yield increase? I’m trying to decide if chasing that extra bit is worth exploring.

    Lol

If anyone has a lead on a 2013 Regular Cab Short Bed 4x4 5.7L, let me know! Currently leaning that way so I can swap parts over. On auto trader looks like only 3 available and they're all lifted, unfortunately for my build. Two of them are beyond saving since they're 6" and 10" lifts. Means diff drops with cut frames, so those are out.

I’ll keep an eye out for an RCSB! Don’t forget to drop the tank and get the fuel pump out…. I bet you can have it out in 15 minutes this time.

Lol my only worry is doing that in the street. My luck another truck will come by at the wrong time! But I gotta at least lower the tank to take off the PS fuel lines. We'll see if I'm not lazy enough to do a full drop. I kept the stock pump so might as well

What elevation are you at? ~25hp/psi, and you can nearly double the amount of boost. If you live near sea level it's kind of a question of how much power do you feel safe running, if you live at higher elevation (like 3000ft+) then run the smallest pulley possible and then throw some other mods at it if you want. Bang for the buck, pulley is the way to go. Either way, if you have the stock Magnuson injectors you'll need preferably 750cc injectors and the Walbro 450, so any real gains will require a $1000 investment plus retuning.

I was expecting, based off others with similar mods, 525 whp with a fully kitted Magnuson, maybe more.

It all depends, the fuel pump is a must, even with the stock pulley. You can get 500-530 whp with the right set up.

There are a number of pulley options on the market. You have a 2.45" pulley, and every 0.10" smaller you get is roughly a 1.5psi increase which is about ~37hp. Theoretically your truck makes 550hp already, and the rule of thumb is 600hp is reliable but that's not to say you can't go higher (or be reliable higher).

Griptec makes a 2.3" pulley, URD makes a 2.34" pulley, and as of this coming Monday I'll be shipping pulleys with sizes from 2.3" to 2.0" (linked below to the forum post).

Intake, throttle body, exhaust, etc. Can all add more and other people know more than i do about those. However a pulley will run you $200 or less, and if you went with a 2.0" (which would be insane, don't do that) but you would probably make around 150hp more than you do now. Compare that to other mods that will gain you a handful or maybe double digit horsepower for a couple hundred or more.

But to reiterate, you still need to get a fuel pump at a minimum to push more, and most likely 650+ cc injectors. So you need to spend $1000 essentially just to safely unlock more. I would recommend a 2.2" pulley (albeit i sold out of those already), or start with a 2.3" and move down as you want. Lots of options. Plan on lots of fueling and then decide how much you want to push the envelope. Hard to know how much power a truck/driving style can reliably handle, so take it all with a grain of salt too.

Unless you go with E85 top performance is around ~500WHP/500TQ give 20 to 30 HP. A few are pushing much higher numbers but with built engines. Aside the aforementioned upgrades the intake/TB becomes a constraint at around ~475ish or so, at least on the Harrops.

Like no tune? That is why this thread was started.

It is not recommended. Blower with stock ECU highly depends on the stock ECUs knock prevention to keep the engine safe. As a result it will run less efficient.

    You'll get around 425 to 450 WHP.

Hey dyno people! Do I fill the tank or leave it at the bit more than 1/4 it has? Do I want to use any kind of additive (91 max octane here)

At least half tank, you can put in some BG44k or an octane additive.
