    I could do a giant death-cart build!!

And that's a serious idea depending on payout/buy back. I've loved death-cart idea since seeing on at the local meet, that used to be a Lexus SC300

That's horrible, I'm sorry to see that. I hope you catch the mofo that did this.

I've always known SC whine to be a sign of inefficiency. That said, mine is absolutely silent and I wouldn't mind some more noise but I gotta just remind myself that mine must be super efficient.

I'm surprised to hear that, since you have the PS Intake, but I think the Maggie makes more noise vs Harrop.

The 2650 has a 170 degree twist to the rotors and the 1900 has 160 degree, which I wonder if that’s a factor. Between that and it rotating slower for the same flow I guess it’s just quieter. The twin screws definitely have a glorious whine.

I was going to say, the inevitable "are you selling the blower" questions will be coming up

Sorry to hear about this brother. Sucks to see. Was a beautiful set up/truck too.

Call me a monster but as a radiology tech by schooling, I love seeing these...lol

I don't get to see them much anymore after moving over to cardiology (not that I want to return to radiology either)

Is there a difference in lobe count as well?

They are both 4 lobe I believe. The new 3100 is a 3 lobe I think.

I would imagine there would be a pitch difference with gearing and lobe count.

Yeah the old ones are 4 lobes. Looks like there are several versions of the 3100 coming with two different lobe counts, 3 and 4. I had to do a double take but the packaging on one of them was quite small and looks much like a Whipple.

That was just a bench set up, it wasn't even mounted to the engine. I doubt it will be that loud mounted in a vehicle.

The Total Seal gapless top rings I purchased come with standard second rings and standard oil rings as well, for anyone interested. Additionally, the Ductile Moly rings are good for up to 15PSI, which is also the borderline for needing to change the gaps, if going above 15PSI they recommend the AP Steel rings and a larger gap.

I'm looking at possibly pulling the Maggie off, but I'm not sure if I should go with Whipple or Harrop.

Can’t go wrong with either. If time isn’t of the essence wait until the new maggy comes out. I’ve got an eager buyer for mine so i may go to the whipple since the maggy maybe a bit

I would sell it for the right price, but I don't know if that would ever happen. If the right buyer comes along great, if not I'll just keep adding to the beast.
