Trying to get the Innovate wideband in, I followed the video, which says add the external input & run the LM software but they still disappear. LM sees my gauge, I am about to update the firmware. If that does nothing any ideas?

Also, this morning I have 4lo flashing, no cel or codes, I just pulled the battery & am leaving it off for about 15 minutes. Modding is FUN! ( I keep telling myself) lol

Welp, RIP Tundra. Hit and run driver while it was parked in front of my house. And I NEVER leave it out there. Except my driveway was full. Took the truck up to snowboard today and buddy left his vehicle in my full driveway. Oh ya, buddy broke his collar bone on the first run today so we came back early

Damn dude, so sorry to see. I know you were just finishing it up and the real enjoyment was about to start. I know you put a lot of time and effort into the build, and gathering all the parts to complete the SC kit and what not. I hope it gets resolved to your satisfaction.

 

You can hear the collision about 9 seconds in, then the white box truck just drives off a few seconds later. Wish my front doorbell cam was working! Some neighbors caught it so hopefully get some better vid of crash

 

Oof this is everyones fear in this thread after spending countless hours thinking and doing mods then gets destroyed in a second. Plus being a 2021 you likely bought it new.

 

Didn't want to call 911 cause Aurora is a big city and I'm sure they have better things. Sat on the non-emergency line for 20 minutes and no one answered, so just filed a report online. The neighbors saw it happen, and said the box truck that hit me didn't even have a license plate on the thing, so very doubtful they'll be caught. And so this is all going on my own insurance, yay...

It's gotta be totalled. The didn't appear to be bent but that's quick glancing. However the rear portion of the cab is push forward and over so that the rear door won't open. The rear rim has a big gash in it and probably, wouldn't trust the brakes or axle parts behind that anymore.

I'll be pulling off a lot of stuff tomorrow and listing for sale soon. Gotta file with insurance in the morning

 

Sorry for your loss, make sure Insurance is aware of the cost of the upgrades that you're not able to take off...could get you a bit more back, it did with my Tacoma. I still had receipts for everything though.

 

In 2017, my prior 2010 was older and higher miles at the time, and was hit similarly (the same panels but not as bad) under the previous owner. It had a damaged bed side, rear of the cab and both doors, mirror and wheels. Not even sure what else. It was not totaled. It will be interesting to see what they say about yours. I’m so bummed for you.

I was hoping to hear you would go for a second Tundra build but I completely understand why you don't want to mess with it again.

 

Honestly no idea what will be next. I probably won't sell any of the take-off parts until I see what insurance does. And if it's totaled I'm gonna have to sit and think on what will be next. I could try and find a single cab 4x4 5.7L to put everything on. Or I could take insurance check, do a V8 swap on the JK and just keep it and pull down my for sale ads on it. Or just something all together different. Will update!

 

It would be easy enough to find out where the truck went to do deliver what ever it was. Once you find that you find the business it belonged to. One of the easiest things to do. I would do some detective work on my own just to get some satisfaction in seeing that company fork over the big bucks??!!

I saw the cab and the pillar looks way damaged. That is some major damage and I would be very surprised if they did not total it. My daughter just was hit in the rear and they almost totaled that and it was in no way damaged as mush as that was. I was very surprised at the cost,, the other insurance paid!! It did not look that bad at all??


There is no way I would let them try to fix that truck!

 

I bought my Jeep from a salvage auction CoPart.com. I've been on there a lot in the last year looking for the next project. There's a LOT of vehicles on there with less damage that get totaled out. And it's very possible the Tundra replacement may come from there if I can find the right candidate. Flooded or salvaged/rebuildable luxury or supercar for $40k? Maybe!
