What will more likely happen than getting your identity stolen, is that you'll suddenly start to get more and more Unknown or Block call scammers. Or attempts to collect non-existent debts. But nothing to really worry over. Lock your credit if it's not already.

I’m just glad you didn’t send him money. Something about those pics looked familiar but didn’t think anything of it until you said you were feeling suspicious…Then I searched for where I may have seen it before and sure enough it was just some photos from online!

I think i was blinded by the boost :burnrubber:

to be honest, i'm a little mad at myself. I clicked send a couple different times on venmo for $1600, but either through a glitch or venmo knowing something we dont...they didn't go through.
My justification was i was using a credit card and turned on buyer protection (no way i was sending via zelle)....figured it was a gamble, but probably would get my money back.

I felt a similar way when I bought my supercharger, it was being sold from a guy that owned a shop that another guy I knew worked at, but as I recall it took weeks to show up to the point I think I told them just keep it and give me my money back and then miraculously it appeared like three days later. Whole ordeal was sketchy, but the one saving grace was this one guy I knew claimed to know the guy with the supercharger pretty well.

I was worried walking into a garage with 3050 (zelled 100) but it was no stress.

He proves it by sending pictures of sealed kits for the 4.0 v6 that he also stole from the internet? What attention to detail.

Unless it's a faulty fuel pump, everything looks fine. Gonna see if I can wire up the pump outside of the tank to check

There is some sediment in the housing but I don't think that'd be enough to clog a filter?

My first pump I installed was brand new and faulty. It was an aeromotive unit. Swapped in the 450 and boom no issues

Man that sucks, sorry you had to drop the tank again.

What do you think caused that?

    Also, from Magnuson:

I got the payment information from the sales team. Ill have a vacuum diagram sent out to you.

It will be $15 plus $4.50 for shipping.

So here's a tip for anyone changing out the pump and using the thicker rubber fuel lines they sell at the auto store. Make sure that the compressed length of the tube doesn't have any kinks! I thought I had made sure there weren't any to begin with, but it could have happened, the hose clamp could also have cut into the tube.

So this time I cut out some of the lid so that the hose is more in line with the connection point. Also measured the depth of the tank, 10" and then compressed the lid pump housing to make sure there were no kinks. Uncompressed height of fuel pump housing is around 11". I'm also going to remove the hose clamp I have around the base of the fuel pump holding it in place against the housing. Should allow the pump to move a little instead of kinking the hose also.

In last pic you can see how hose can kink if too long

Also make sure it's high pressure rated line. I had a line burst the exact same way on my FJ40 efi conversion, I grabbed some generic fuel line laying around but it was meant for a carburetor and not for 50psi through it.
