Assuming you have a magnuson? Bang for your buck dollar per horsepower wise I say you can’t go wrong either way getting a smaller pulley. You could probably gain around 30-40hp from the pulley and a retune, but then you may also need more fuel to support it so then you may get into needing bigger injectors and a pump. If you have a Harrop the supplied pump is sufficient for just a step down in pulley size, you’ll just need injectors. Headers you end up probably doubling the expense to get an additional 20-40hp. All depends how much you want to spend and how much more power you want.

If it’s a magnuson I’d count on $1500ish for a pulley, injectors, fuel pump and tune for 20-40hp gain. Longtubes may get you the same amount of gain for more money (whatever they cost+install). If a Harrop it’s a no brainer, just pulley down and get injectors. and tune it at a minimum.
I did see that one! The truck I’m thinking of is actually a different one though. But you’re right both are in the 715whp range with harrops. The one I’m thinking of I know has TRD duals, not sure what that white one has for exhaust.

I have the Magnuson. Any ideas on pulley suppliers or upgrade kits to avoid a DIY error?

I hit 11.3 psi on my AEM boost gauge today, stock manifolds, 2.3 pulley on a Maggie with a PS intake and RFC throttle body.

Does it spike to the 11.3 or was it holding there?

Thats interesting. Today I measured 4.3psi @ 10,000ft and it matched up to my projections really well, as does my testing at 2500ft. I would've expected 9psi assuming my 2.3" projections are at all accurate (big if) so I wonder if your mods have allowed the extra 2psi. Do you know how much psi it made on the stock pulley?

I don't, I wish I did. They claim the intake will give an extra 2 psi.

Mine started a similar sound recently as temps dropped.

did not go away as engine warmed up but actually has gotten more frequent and longer. Sounds like belt tensioner or replace belt? This belt was installed with S/C about 2 months ago and would hope belt would last longer…

To me, that sounds different. Mine sounds like a resonance at specific RPMs, yours a "honk" like there's a resistance to air flow or like blowing across the top of a beer bottle.

We get a couple more of these together and we'll have a band.

    Progressive didn't cover freaking ANYTHING.
well.. they DID credit me 345 bucks for the 2k+ in aftermarket wheels and tires, 300 dollar running boards, and roughly 4k in suspension parts I had to leave on it.

The SC stuff I luckily was able to swap out almost everything for stock parts I'd kept.

They kept calling me to give get it "to evaluate it" and I kept dodging then t until I had put it back as much to stock as I could.

Nice. my suggestion is spray it into a cap and then use a brush. I painted my black that way with high temp gloss black. Just keep dabbing out on slowly.

the red is KBS in Torch Red... which ironically is a Ford color and ended up being the exact paint code of the new truck!

Just bought my 4 credits for HPTuners, I have the MPVI2+ Pro, and sent an email over to OTT.

I never ran gauges on the Taco, like I KNOW I should have. What are the preferred gauges and wideband O2 sensors? Will get those ordered next. Looking to start the install in next few weeks

Actually I'm kinda leaning this way since it'd be cheaper than getting two seperate AEM gauges. Plus I do have that standalone data logger for my MPVI2+ Pro already, wouldn't really need the ODBII adapter the AEM has
