I don’t like the looks of those PS injectors from the O rings, to the funky adapters, to the falsified flow rating. Seems like they don’t belong in the fuel rails but were made to work with some dubious modifications.

What did you change? Might have to go backwards on installation until you hit a configuration that runs right, then reinstall things to isolate where the issue is coming from.

Installed Harrop and Prospeed's fuel system and 4.5" intake. We're suspecting maybe an injector and/or rail is leaking somewhere. I'm assuming the shop did a leak test but they're going to put the oem injectors and air intake back in today and go from there.

They found my injectors need to be rotated different ways to fit, also found one of the pins back out on the connector on cylinder one.

    What a mess...

Install of parts was smooth from the get-go. Turns out the local tuner who said he knew how to tune it actually doesn't and was pointing fingers at the installer. Hopefully next week it'll be finished up via Prospeed's remote service.

Installer said he drove it and it was running without any issues but felt there's more power on the table after ~50% throttle at 60mph and the truck going sideways. That's exciting at least.

Turns out the tuner is actually the logger and he sends the logs to another guy that uses HP Tuners. Installer and I weren't aware of that until today. Not sure I want to blast yet until the tune is finalized. He's out of Vancouver, Wa

I didn't mean that in a negative way. He initially said he was "the guy" and that he knew what he was doing. Turns out neither he or HIS tuner knows what they're doing with anything outside an n/a tune.

Exciting news! A guy in Salt Lake City who had his long travel Tundra suspension tuned by my friend was told to call me if they wanted engine tuning; it's a super cool rig, all long traveled and has a giant camera crane and gimbal setup mounted on the roof. They also have a RZR that's similarly setup that my friend tuned the suspension on. Anyways, dude called me yesterday and I had no idea this was going to be a thing but it sounds like I'll be tuning their truck in the coming weeks :eek2: It's a stock magnuson and they have the TRD tune, so we all know how shitty that is. No AFR gauge so I told him I didn't want to fuck with it until they got that, even though I think if I just gave them my small injector tune they'd be ready to go. I told them about OTT and other tuning shops, and I'm just a dude with a garage, but for some reason he seems to want me to do it  maybe it'll fall through and he'll go with someone else, but would be cool if I ended up tuning someone's truck :D

Went down the hill today and brought the laptop to do some tuning. The last time I went WOT at lower elevation (~2500ft) I had horrible pinging, but that was before the 750 injectors so I had hope I could dial it in a bit. After an hour+ of tuning, adjusting fueling, timing, and the trans, I got the truck to have essentially no knock while swallowing 10.7psi! I then did a single dragy run and went 0-60 in 4.37s, again with no knock :D I had to pull a little timing out to make it happy, which is power I won't get back at home (~5500ft) but I think it'll be minimal and is worth not having to worry about going WOT anywhere we normally commute to. Also, I'm at 95% duty cycle with the Prospeed 750 (really 715cc for me) injectors. At home I'm around 80% duty cycle, so these are about perfect where they're kissing the limit down the hill (though that's also in the low 10s for AFR to keep everything happy).

Very very stoked, the truck spun all four wheels and did the hardest launch ever and I got the tune and shifting dialed in to handle nearly 11psi, which is 12+psi from the supercharger itself :D hell of a day! And it's almost at 282k!

Sounds to be running great Sniv. Are you monitoring AFR on both banks or just the one? And if it’s just the one is it the driver or passenger side? I’m curious if the AFR on both banks is nice and rich all the way through to red line. If you can run that much extra air with no problems on stock rails that aren’t even paralleled (granted bigger pump and injectors), it sure makes it seem like the fuel rail upgrades are an unnecessary upsell. Your setup seems fine for the occasional romp at lower elevation with more boost. Do you think if you were at that lower elevation all the time that you would continue to run it at over 10psi, or is it questionably safe but since it’s a rare occasion you’re not worried about it?

Your results make me want to add more air and fuel, but I have to remember how I use my truck. As long as it’s my primary vehicle, I think I must resist the urge. I need another vehicle to tinker with so I can keep a reliable daily/tow vehicle. If it’s possible, getting a 6500lb lifted 4x4 to 60 in 4 seconds flat with safe AFRs sounds about perfect to me though. If I remove the cap and put some stock size tires on I think I’d be in the sub 4.5 range. In any case, to hit 60 in 4.0-4.2 seconds it has to be knocking on the door of 620-650 crank hp I would think… depending on your curb weight. Consider the TRX does it in 3.7ish with 700hp and superior gearing/transmission.

Edit: Sniv I think you need to contact TFL truck and have them pit your truck against the TRX and Raptor R when they do that drag racing test. Imagine their face when you tell them it has 282k miles. Best Toyota commercial ever.

    Some numbers to beat

Ford Raptop: "the standard twin-turbo V6 F-150 Raptor accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds."
F150 Shelby Super snake: "In its optimal performance form, the two-door cab Super Snake (lowered suspension) with the supercharger and all-wheel drive,...0-60 is just 3.45 "
    F150 Shelby 4 door Lifted: ?
Dodge TRX: "shooting to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds"

How does the F150 stay together? Are the internals beefed up or stock-ish?

The coyote/voodoo 5.0 is good to 2000hp on stock internals from what I've read...my uncle has a supersnake and that thing scoots like none other! But only in a straight line

That’s definitely quick for the super snake f150, but it better be! An aluminum F150 reg cab short bed, lowered on regular size street tires, AWD and 775hp. It’s basically useless as a truck, and is more of a car in my book. The lifted Shelby version with the same power is notably slower than the TRX despite more power. Some of us on this page have trucks as fast or faster than the lifted one.
