My TRD does this little singing/whistle sound when it's cold. I can usually alleviate it by having the block heater plugged in a few hours before starting it from ambient cold. Right at startup, at about 1:30, and again at 1:50.

What does that mean? Like the injector is moving around?

I’ve noticed my Harrop makes a similar high pitched noise on a cold start, first of the day. It goes away pretty quick, I don’t think it’s anything of concern.

I used to get the same high pitched sound but after replacing my belt tensioner a couple times, it's no longer an issue to my ears and wallet...

almost a year old, it only started last few weeks as we are below freezing, usually no more noise for rest of the day unless its a really cold day.

I guess I need to do the pulley....

Whenever the belt has started consistently making noise I replace it. Today it was below freezing and no belt noise with the 2.0" pulley, though I replaced the belt when I did the pulley a month ago since I was in there.

I forget if I've done the tensioner ever, I don't think so... But add that to the list too. I'm pretty liberal about just replacing the belt if there's any sign of it wearing out, since as we know smaller pulleys make it more critical that the belt is in good shape, and it costs less than a tank of gas :D

That new smaller belt you're rocking @snivilous , is she holding up well? Obviously that's a rhetorical question...and again, I am assuming no belt slip with the new setup?

No issues whatsoever, I haven't noticed any belt slip and as I said there's no squealing or anything. The belt has looked fine, the bolts I put lock tight on when I installed the pulley but regardless they haven't loosened up. I have not run the 2.3" pulley yet, since it's geometrically identical to the 2.0" so seemed kind of pointless to install it when I haven't had a need yet. Overall I am extremely happy, it literally acts like any other pulley besides the fact I have double the boost I had before :D with all that said, I have a brand new belt and have been reliably at 8psi absolute pressure (~11psi from the supercharger) and have about 2000 miles on it. I haven't pushed it past 8psi at lower elevation since I've been busy and haven't gotten a chance to try tuning it down there.

The only thing I somewhat worry about is the pulley and hub are raw, the hub is 17-4PH stainless so is very corrosion resistant and likewise so is the 7075-T6, however both of those will inevitably oxidize with time so I'm curious (mainly with the aluminum) how it will hold up. I think it'll be fine, but it might stain or something. The one's SRQ is selling are all raw too to keep price down, but it'll be interesting if over time there is the need to anodize the pulley for longevity--again, I doubt it, but people like anodized shit and if their bright silver pulley has some stains on it they might bitch.

I don't think it's of concern either, at least probably not, but not knowing of it's origin furrows my brow at times. I wonder if there simply just isn't some sort of harmonic frequency that's happening below a general temperature that's in our hearing range and isn't at other temps (just spit-balling). This is going on the third winter of the phenomenon for me. I have about 15k miles on the install, so I'd be skeptical of an idler/tensioner, and the belt looks fine. Gonna run it.

Anyone else on here running Prospeed's billet fuel rails? Truck runs great with no CEL but we're seeing low knock sensor values and we noticed the fuel rails are contacting the supercharger. Thinking maybe it's causing feedback into the block via the rails and messing with the knock sensor. Hopefully hear back from Prospeed tomorrow.

No Maggie here, Harrop. I started getting squeaking about a month ago when it’s cold or humid. Now it’s all the time. Truck only has 66k miles and 6k of that is boosted. Just ordered an OEM tensioner yesterday so I’ll see if that cures the annoying squeaking.

No, they just aren't seeded in the intake properly. Not tight enough, hopefully an easy fix.

I am also running them with no issues...I'm wondering if something isn't lined up correctly, or a injector insulator is squished in the hole wrong (those are tough to get lined up)? The rails should only be making contact with the nylon spacers and the injectors, not the SC.

It's tight, no more than a credit card's thickness everywhere it bulges (yes, I checked them all), but it's not touching. I can slide the card in without resistance and it holds like a feeler gauge.

Great, now if you could just try a few different credit cards, and show us them front and back so we can get a better idea. Details matter.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the ProSpeed 750 injectors get two o rings at the factory fuel rail. I think they were installed wrong, that's why I'm having an issue with cylinder one.8f1108f1f274ceca7c468dc1ecabe3b98e4d1835cbef21d4cbb9ca2e81c6b236.jpg

Anyone run into super low KCLV values after an install? Less than 10.. which means some extreme detonation. Truck doesn't behave like it and we can't seem to find where to look.

That's how your injectors came? Looks like only two total on my set and not that third one on the other end. Five-O's look a lot different

How are you monitoring KCLV? If it is something SG can monitor I'll keep an eye on it.

My tuner is logging it via Hp Tuners software. KCLV parameters are dropping as rpms increase rather than increasing. Literally going in opposite direction.

The spacers at the bottom of the injectors are in the intake, I believe the o ring is under that.
