I would've seriously considered it if it wasn't for that caveat. Having 18s already makes me feel like an idiot

 

I'm thinking it's purely the rotor size. I ran Stoptech 6 piston calipers with TRD rotors on my 2014 Tacoma Baja with 16" TRD faux beadlock wheels that have more offset for clearance

 

I have 20s on my Tundra but I think I still have the factory spare, which is an 18? More upgrades. Will a 35x12.5-20 fit in the spare tire hole?? Probably not.....

 

You have to cut the tire guides out but people have done it.

Lol same. Then he took me for a spin and it reminded me of Porsche turbo brakes.

There’s a few videos of the kits on a raptor on the YouTube. They actually have more clearance than the stock calibers also

I had to get the BBK when I went to a 22in wheel, love them so far.

 

Those don’t look big behind the 22s. But they look nice!

 

Dying to get some big rotors for mine but I think when I finally pull the trigger it'll be for Wilwoods all the way around. Partially because I can get them at cost and partially cause they look sick.

Found a local shop to install my shiz but now it won't be until early Dec. The wait game is a struggle!!

No, I have a tuner lined up once the install is finished. He uses HP Tuners

I'm using a guy named Nicholas out of Vancouver, WA. He's gonna pick me up, take us to the truck, and we're going to street tune it for a few hours!

I didn't know you were close to me lol.. we'll see how the street tune goes with the weather. May only be able to WOT in 4wd

 

If you don't use 4WD, you won't have much traction.

I passed 280k, and successfully drove to Las vegas without exploding, though I was already hitting 6psi with minimal throttle so I was watching the boost gauge like a hawk pulley and hub seem to be working great, haven't touched them since install and this was a solid 300 mile drive round trip. Still waiting on prospeed to send me the goods too.
