Not sure what a how to would look like other than "cut your metal out and weld it" It took me about 4 hours to fab up. Really just a box with doors. Frame is 1" tubing, everything else is 16 gauge sheet metal and expanded sheet.

Bracket installed and like the location but will have to see how the velcro hold up, might have to start thinking on a 3.0 version.

I've been tempted to build something like that. It's not super secure though which is my only hiccup. That said, a cordless angle grinder would make quick work of a Stack On cabinet too.

I’ll gladly show mine. If they want them, I strongly encourage them to come get them. I’m well past middle age. I’ll happily go out with a bang if forced.

Very strong steel shelves, had to put my garage guns temporarily inside because the boys grew up to fast and still negotiating with the wife to get it in the house.

All true. I'm a firefighter and deal with a lot of 'fire proof gun safes' and have learned two things...they don't protect anything in a serious fire, and, you can break into them with a grinder in about five minutes.

But I made my place super secure so the gun locker is mostly just to keep the kid out. If someone is able to get into my house a safe wouldn't give them too much more additional trouble. The whole place was purpose built from the ground up to repel attack.

This little M14 has printed sub-MOA groups at 100 yards using 147 gr. Portuguese NATO surplus and an Aimpoint CompM4 without any magnification... it's all good as long as I do my part.

Unfortunately that’s all we can have here. On the plus side, the gun was only supposed to come with 2 mags and I got 3.

Are you LE or prior service? That’ll get you the 3 mags vs 2 (and a sweet slight discount usually).

    or so I’m told.

Do it! Guaranteed it’ll make you smile.

I got to shoot some suppressed handguns and rifles at a match in Montana a couple of years ago. Even the suppressed 22s were super cool! Then there was the Barrett .50... :D

I gotta figure out where to do it. Vegas is possible, but stupidly expensive. Plus let's be real...1 mag per gun isn't gonna cut it. I'd love to find some folks who wouldn't mind me shooting their guns and I'll pay actual market price for the ammo.

Take up one of the competitive shooting disciplines! You’ll meet awesome folks from all over, who are generally generous types- happy to share with we oppressed Canucks... ;)
