just curious why the upgrade? I find the lights on my platinum to be outstanding especially with the auto-brights

Genuine question here: Why do aftermarket headlights always cost so dang much? Some of the options are close to $2k, which seems shocking to me.

    Lots of stuff!
I think it would make sense to look at these if your original headlights got damaged. I think the OE ones will be about the same replacement cost.

I’m not. Can they sell it to me cheaper? My Mom says that I’m special.

Hey thanks! Lots has changed, I need to make a new walk around soon!
Not everyone has the platinum lights. Not sure if I posted it here or in another headlight thread, but the premium lights are going to be the brightest lights for these trucks. Aftermarket just simply can't compete. Those that don't have the premium lights, this is a solid upgrade for more light output. Not to mention, they give quite the unique look and some people want their own vehicle to stand out and not look like every other tundra on the road.

ok, I see, I didnt think about the lower trim and if the lights suck.

the lights on my 16 platinum were god awful, when I got this platinum 23 I was like HOLY SHIT did they improve those, I can't see how it could get any better, super good cutoff and no dead spots.

    thanks for the info

Retrax. Uptop AFS bed rack. Condor XL. Dobinson rear springs. BFG 35/12.5/r18. BD light bar and ditch lights. Prinsu roof rack. Diode dynamics fog upgrade.
crazy expensive but OEM has gotten expensive. Not sure what the led projector OEMs go for but even my TRD PRO gas tank skid plate that is made of plastic is 330 from Toyota. Mine got bent and broken off, found an all steel version for the same price.

For these headlights, aesthetically they look fantastic and stand out.
