    Interesting. Thanks nodak67.

I will have to say that after two service visits (both recalls, one also to turn off piped in engine sound) I am pleasantly impressed with this dealer. My experience with shyster Chicago dealers gives me pause to say this, but I now have one (Idaho) dealer who is treating me very well. DM me if you want to know that dealers name. I hope this trend continues. Toyota is winning me over as a long time US car guy.

like i said it varies from dealer to dealer, sadly its more rare to find a decent dealer that not. ive bought like 15+ toyotas from my dealer as they have changed hands 3 times since the late 80's. and i have only once bought from another dealer when they had a bad general manager that low balled everyone on trade in's. like 3k difference on trade in on the same 2016 tacoma. now that he is gone, things are back to before he came.

my 2018 tundra we got like 9% off msrp before trade, on our 23 we got like 7% off msrp where the dealer we bought our 18 was only doing msrp. granted it took 10 months to get our 23, it was worth the wait for $4900 off msrp and they honored the 41k trade in on the 18.

overall bummed about the long wait but happy in the end. looking forward to when the 6th gen 4runner comes out and working a deal with them again.

Currently I am rocking the standard sr5 rims but someone is selling these for 1500$, could prob talk him down. 2023 TRD PRO Sequoia rims with Wildpeak AT3W Tires. < 50 miles. Does that seem like a deal? I am very new in this truck tire talk. Also thoughts on the look?

The PRO wheels are forged BBS wheels so $1500 for the set is solid considering retail for the rim is like $600ea and the tires are between $360-$430ea.

Hi just posting my truck, I have a Trd sport with a 2.5 in leveling kit from supreme suspensions with 20x10 fuel rebel wheels -18 offset and Toyo at3 35x12.5 r20 slight rub on full lock but nothing too crazy, still need to trim carpet fender liners

Got the truck back: Dealer service found TOE out of spec, adjusted, now steering wheel is straight and truck tracks straight (tracked well before alignment, mostly steering wheel not straight). It is curious that this is what the service record says, but the service tech told me that the TOE was in "allowed spec range" but he adjusted it slightly. I suspect that since it was in spec range he had to write that it was out of spec so as to justify making the adjustment. I'll never know. But indeed it came from the factory not quite right.

I must also say that it's super annoying to have something stupid like not-quite-right alignment on a $70k new vehicle. At least I know that I'm not crazy in thinking that something was wrong :) But in the end Toyota made it right and for no charge.

Found some wheels that might work in 18” but are 8.5” wide . Any buddy have problems running 295 70r18 on that skinny off a wheel ?

Does anyone know if you can fit 17’s on 23 TRD Pro. 2 wheel shops have said no, stick with 18’s. Was thinking 17x9 +15 or (+20)

Just got my wheelset on. I went with Method 318 17x8.5 +25 with Toyo OC RT Trail 35x12.5. Couldn’t be happier with the setup. 79C03194-495B-4CBD-A7E3-980B6A67D748.jpgPoke with and without the TRD Pro Fenders:0892EF2F-DB21-4773-A24A-FF6597634906.jpg D94EFFD3-C149-48E5-BB42-78C1F482A47A.jpg

99% of 17's fit just fine, the other 1% do not. There as an entire thread on it if you search for it.

Looking at purchasing wheels and tires soon. Can I see some setups with +25 offset on 35s? In between going with +25 or +18. The wheels I want are only in stock at +25. Would love to see some trucks with +25 wheels n 35s and also hear if you have any sort of rubbing! Thanks!

Wasn’t sure how to reply to urmomspad above.

    Hi everyone.

Winter is over and I'm quite excited to put my new summer wheels on.

I bought 33x12.50x20 Nitto Recons to put on my fuel wheels 20x9+1 offset. I got a Readylift 3"/1".

Should I be concerned about anything other than getting an alignment done?

    Any concerns about rubbing?

Thank you everyone. I'll post pics next week!

Top of the morning! I’m running 17x8.5 +25 on Toyo OC RT Trail 35x12.5

No rubbing at all. Just had to remove the front mud flap and pin back the fender liner.

    @urmomspad

love the stance on your truck. I know you said you went 2” springs in front and 1” in the rear. What was the actual lift height you got in the front? Did you move the seat on the strut to get more than 2? Dobinsons says you can get up to 3” by moving the seat.

Thanks! I ended up with 2 1/4” lift in the front. With the 2” springs the max, according to Dobinson’s would be 2 1/2” to stay within their recommended tolerances.

For 3” lift you would need the 3” springs.

My replacement for Old Blue- 2007 Tundra in Blue Streak. She was a flawless truck! Hopefully I get the same service out of this computer on wheels. The TRD 3" lift just got finished and I swapped out to some more capable tires.

Any chance you could take a picture from the front and back to so how much this setup pokes? I'm looking at doing the same setup (In black tho). Thanks!

Yes there is some rub on the sway bar at full lock. o_O Hopefully will be fixed by 1" Spider Trax spacers. Otherwise new wheels will be in order.
