Yeah, I also haven't found light duty tires in that size.

    Lots of stuff!
For a +35 offset, I am surprised to see the tread poking out at all but that might be the tire size you picked. Looks great and thanks for sharing the pics!

Did you do any lift or suspension work?

Those wheels are very understated. I am looking very closely at the black HRE's but the only offered offset is "0" and after seeing your +35, I am worried about the poke I would get! How is the clearance on the inside? Any rubbing of the control arms or swaybar links? With a "0" offset, I could also add some TRD Pro fender flares to take up some of the poke as well. I think they would add about an inch to the width so that could eat up ~25mm of negative offset and lessen the "poke"

@PBNB I just got it back from the shop (SDHQ) about an hour ago so haven't had chance to check for rub or anything. It has an Icon Stage 9 kit on it. I already trimmed up the excess wheel well plastic on the rear.

Was debating on 17 or 18 inch methods. You got me sold on the 17 inch.

Won't regret it once you glance back at it in the parking lot after the lift and 35's.

This makes me excited for tomorrow, almost the same looking truck as you, same size tire/wheel, method 305 and falkens with the trd lift. Thanks for the preview!

Currently, just tinted windows. Looking to change out the grille and swap wheels and tires.
Has anyone had any experience with Vredestein Tires? They seem to be highly rated and some solid reviews. I live in Florida so, don't need great snow A/T's. Just some that ride better than others and are good on dry/wet. These seem to have a nice A/T look with solid rates in multiple areas. Plus 70k mile warranty isn't bad either.

Also, does anyone know if these are too big for stock platinum with AVS and no lift?

Vredestein is European and they make some damn good winter tires. They are very common in the mountain/ski resort type areas. I can't speak for their other tires, but their winter tires are great.

To the best of my knowledge the current parent company is Indian, but the tires are still produced in Europe.

you could try Cooper AT3 4S, they make that size in a P rated, and they are made in USA.

just throwing out a another option and thats what Im going to with, Ive had good luck out of coopers, had ST Maxx, AT3 XLT, and Im going to go with the 4S next time

Im trending in the less aggressive, less weight, better ride trend as I get older, lol.

REALLY NICE!!! I was told I would need a 6' lift to accommodate that size tire. No Rubbing or alterations?

I’m reading through the instructions but 2 things right away. No front mud flaps.
TRD skid plate won’t fit due to diff drop.
    (Looking into spacer or replacement)

No idea, I bought the truck with it already installed.
Compared to my 2019 Taco double cab TRD that I traded, about the same.

Got it. I almost had the Readylift installed when my truck came in but just went with less than 35s on stock wheels instead. Now wanting 35s and lift. Between the TRD lift, Icon, or the more economic choice, Readylift.

I will weigh in unwarranted, but with some info and keep it short since this is suspension talk in the wheels thread, lol. I have the TRD lift and it is definitely a solid option to consider. Pricing is Meh, but you get a lot of components and warranty through Toyota, which adds value to me. The ride and handling of the truck is better then stock OR Bilsteins IMO, and better than a few others I have owned (Fox, Icon, Radflo). Both ICON and the TRD lift use digressive valving which has its pros and cons (article below) depending on your usage. Looking at the ready lift components and the fact that they are using spacers, the ride will most likely be a little harsher than stock since you are limiting down travel with spacers and not changing the actual coil over. To me it is really a difference of price and aesthetic vs capability and performance, if that makes sense. Hope this was a little helpful, and good luck with your choice.

I’ll bring the thread back on track.
Wheels are a plus 1 offset.
