Im hoping someone on here can help me out. With a 1.5 - 2 " front leveling kit will a 295/65 or 60 /20 tire rub and what offset do i need ? the fuel rims i like are either + 20 or - 18 I'm thinking the + 20 should work but with either or which tire but i don't want any rub. Thanks to any tire and rim experts

Check out post #13 of this thread. I don't think you will have an issue. I'm waiting on set of Fuels +20 offset as well.

This is the cat ass! Maybe it will stop the sand blasting on my bed sides this winter from all the sand and salt on the roads

Ok my turn... sorry for the dirty truck! I put General Grabber ATX 285/60/20's on my SR5 TRD Sport w stock rims, no lift or level.

Really happy with the results... looks great and the ride height and feel while driving is much better than before, feels a lot more like a truck! Used a GPS speedometer on my phone on the way home and there was literally no variance from what the vehicle displayed whether I was highway or town, but lost about 2.5mpg on the trip computer.

Thanks to all who share their knowledge around here, very good and helpful forum. There aren't a lot of 285/60/20 photos on this thread, so hopefully this helps someone along the way.

@crowdedstr - Looks good! I may have to just get some new tires like that for my truck to look better. lol No rubbing anywhere? I have the 4x4 Limited and it needs to look a little beefier. I wanted to get the factory TRD lift kit but, I have the rear leveling air. I am sure all the front components would be fine. It's those damn air springs/ bags...

Thanks it definitely makes for a better looking truck! No rubbing anywhere... these are 33.5", many people on this thread running 34-35" without rubbing or lifts as well.

35 inch nitto ridge grapplers on stock 1794 wheels. Readylift 3 inch lift with control arms and icon rear shocks. Still averaging about 16mpg. If I drive 50-55 easy I can hit 18mpg. Not bad for 35s. None believes its an SR base model.

What's the biggest spare that fits between suspension components? I have a 285/75/18 spare on my 2014. Can we get close to that on the 2022?

Read through all this before I made my decision and wanted to thank everyone for posting! I ended up pulling the trigger and mounted BFG KO2 285/65r20 on the stock 20s I’m so happy with the result! NO RUB AT ALL on stock height and looks great!

Also if anyone is looking for a set of Method 305 in all black 18x9 6x5.5 5.75
I’ve got a set of 4 that had just a little too much poke for me but I think would probably look great for someone trying to do a lift with 35+

There is a thread on here somewhere (might be in the earlier parts of this one) that has pics/videos featuring 295/70/18…

Those 285’s are a little taller so don’t know for sure

I looked at it yesterday. It looks like there is room. There is a bracket toward the front that might need to be trimmed. Also there are brake lines (I think didn't trace) on the passenger side that should probably be avoided.

Just picked these up today. Why someone would buy a Pro then swap out the wheels is beyond me, but to each their own. It worked out for me!

Nice! Hoping to find a set of take offs as well. You find them on Craigslist or ???

I’ve contacted Factory Style Wheels to see if they plan to produce a version of these, rep said they have had a lot of interest in it & he’s pushing for it. No clue if/when, but the Tacomaworld folks all seemed very pleased with the FSW products.

I found them on Offer Up. You have to be patient though. I saw some high priced ones before I found these. I paid $2k. I've been seeing them around $3k.

For those that have bigger tires, did you guys replace the spare tire as well or took it down to save some weight?
