Cooper at3 xlt 295/70-18 on KMC impact 18x9 +18 . Rubs on 2/3 turn, well before full lock. Taking out the brackets tonight, hopefully can adjust it enough that I can keep the mud flaps on. If not I have a cornfed 2/1 level waiting in a box.

Upon further inspection I should have said rubs at almost full lock. In any event, removed the brackets, drilled a hole on inside of the flap and zip tied it back to some point on frame. 1.5” clearance now. Note to self, put a second zip tie in there soon as backup! Lol. Still planning on leveling it eventually though.

Do you have a pic of the rims up close? I'm curious about the depth of those. I'm between the Impacts and the Technic.

I had concern that there wouldn’t be enough dish, the pics make them look pretty flat faced but in person they have decent enough dish for me. Truck looks about 10x as beefy as it did stock that’s for sure

Exactly the issue I had with my +12 Black Rhinos.
Since I wanted to keep the mudflaps and it only rubbed on the inside at nearly full lock (and my Westcott level) that was the way to go.

I'm rocking some black rhino's also, can you help me out with a PM or some pictures on what you mean by the mudflap modification please! Westcott just took off the front flaps and gave them to me in a box

ride is very good. Slightly stiffer but I was expecting worse. Lost 1.5 mpg with the tires. Grill swap was pain in the butt. Took a couple hours.

Thanks johnnyconway for the info. Grille does look great and I feel more ok installing TRD pkg grille than the pro grille for whatever reason

By the way, has anyone figured out how to get the speedometer and odometer adjusted yet? Seemed to be an issue when the 2022s first launched but I didn’t see anyone ever post back with a solution

I don’t love the idea of swapping tires and having all the gauges off :monocle:

So no rubbing at all on this setup? I was thinking 22" for mine also, but was worried about finding something that wouldn't rub given some people are rubbing with 20". The 22's I want only come in a -13 offset.

Considering doing the RC 1.75" level kit. What is the biggest 20" tire I can run with no rubbing? And does anyone have any preference between the AT3's, KO2's, or Recon/Ridge Grapplers? I don't mind to pin back the felt, etc. but don't want to have to remove any of the pieces I see people talking about removing behind the wheel well. Looking at the fuel rebel 6's in a +1 or a +20 offset.

Appreciate any help or advice -- my new Tundra arrives from the dealership next week

Wish they were real te37…. But I’m poor. I did the whole late 90s, early 00s import scene, so this style wheel makes me happy

Same here brother! The volks te37 are very nostalgic and never get sick of them but man can’t justify spending like $800 a wheel haha

This may have been questioned by someone else already, but.....
I have a 2022 Tundra TRD OR, SR5, 4x4 CrewMax 5.5ft Bed. I would like to replace current stock tires (Michelin LTX Trail 265/70R/18). 1. If I want to keep my stock rims, what is the largest size tire I can install without a leveling kit and rub? 2. If I level it say with a 3/1, what is the optimal way and product to do it with? 3. If I level it, what size and type tire would look and drive best (70% pavement/ 30% unpaved)? I drive primarily in Northern Virginia. I know it's customer preference, but, I want to hear from Tundra SMEs like you on this, not the truck shops who want the extra dollar to go above and beyond.

Thinking about upgrading my tires, but keeping the stock wheels on my 1794 (non-OR). What is the expected decrease in MPG when switching from the stock Dueler H/T to WildPeak A/T3? Also, how is the WildPeak ride (stiffness, noise, etc.)

    TIA

I love this setup. Do most 17s clear the caliper or do you need a specific width to make it work.
