Thanks for the input! My only real concern with the Wildpeaks are that they are about 8 pounds heavier (per tire) than the Coopers. Considering the wheels I'm running are already a little on the heavy side at 32 pounds, I'm not sure I want 100 pounds per tire. From what I've read, that 8-9 pounds per tire can make a huge difference.

You are likely mixing LT and passenger ratings. LT's are generally 10-ply tires rather than ~3 for passenger tires.

Wildpeak can be had in either depending on the size of the tire.

I have the coopers and they are everything you listed there, I had BFGs before these, Cooper are hands down better overall.

and made in usa as well.

i probably didn’t do a very good job of typing that out.

the Wildpeaks weigh just under 69 pounds per tire. The Coopers are about 61 for the 295. With the combined weight of the 32 pound rims, I feel like that extra 8-9 pounds per wheel could make a big different.

for some reason these trucks with the spacer lift seem like the front is high than the rear in these pics, maybe its just the angle or something

Def the angle or your eyes. I have a 2" spacer on mine and it's level. I've measured hub to fender, ground to fender, and even put a 3' level on the bed rail cap & then on the ground ground...angles matched on both.

In minor defense of your statement I will say this: Immediately following the spacer installation, my front measured about .5" higher before the suspension settled. I drove it around for awhile, hit a few bumps, rolled the body left & right during some tight turns in an empty neighborhood development. After about ~3 miles, I measured it again and it was level. If people are excited and taking pics immediately after install before the suspension settles...then it's possible the front is slightly higher.

Yeah it just looks like that in pics. I think part of it is the trim on top of the bed being black makes it seem like the rear is sitting lower. To be honest, I haven’t actually measured it though.

Posted this on the 22 pic thread but thought I'd post here too. There is a good bit of poke but it's not "bro level" poke imo. This setup came off my Silverado and was an easy swap. I already had them here so may as well use them, right? I may change the rims out down the road but for now it works and does look quite good overall.

Those are the nicest aftermarket wheels I have seen so far on the 2022. The styling goes well with the new Tundra design.

Would those wheels fit on the stock rims on a Platinum? Also, how do you like that Wescott lift so far?

I went with the Wildpeaks, they ride so nice and are really quiet for e rated tire. I’m really happy with them. The weight increase wasn’t really noticeable, the truck still pulls like a monster and handles very nicely.

Yea, they should work on stock wheels with any issues. I can tell the overall ride is a little bit stiffer but nothing to write home about.

Assuming you’re talking about my truck, they make a +20 or +1. If I can sell these rims alone I may pick up the same setup with the +20. For now we ride with a little poke.

yes, I was talking about yours, looks nice, just way to much poke for northern IL winters here.

I wish more companies would make +35 ish so its flush

I like those wheels though, look sharp, they have a full black version too I see

Yea, that’s a bit much for someone up north. Luckily I don’t have that issue here in NC much.

If this set wasn’t a takeoff from my ‘20 trail boss I would have gone with the +20 to bring it in a little.

Having said that, if Toyota didn’t set the factory to +60 we (I) wouldn’t have this problem lol.

Curious for all of those that upgrade wheels/tires on the TRD Off-Roads.

    - Did you sell the OEM tires/wheels?

    - If so, how much did you end up getting for them?

Getting my truck tomorrow & doing new wheels/tires on Sunday. Trying to figure out if I should take my tire shop up on their offer to sell them there or if I can get away with selling them on my own.

Won't lie, I'm not usually a fan of bigger wheels but damn does that look good. Well done & quite the changeup from what a lot of folks in here have done.

That honestly means a lot. I always try to do things a bit different than everyone else. That’s why I didn’t just go with a set of methods and 35’s like a lot of people. Not saying it doesn’t look good but everyone seems to be doing it.

I’m holding onto mine for now. Will likely sell down the road.

From what I’ve seen in the FB groups, I’d say $1300-$2000 depending on trim level (which rim) and if you have sensors or not. If the tire ship is giving you a good deal or thinks they can then go for it. You can always get replacements stocks down the road if you need too.
