Yea that’s a lot of poke -10 about an additional 1/2 inch passed my +1 poke. If u look above you will see pics of my +1 poke.

The other thing is not all 17s will clear the front brake calipers. It depends on the wheel!

No it has nothing to do with underinflation on his Pro. The Pro alignment specs are screwing everyone with a Pro on OEm tires. I am expecting Toyota will pay for new tires my next visit at 15k miles, as that's what corporate told me after a few phone calls. The Recons in that size and weight look fantastic. I'd be eager to hear how you feel they perform on wet pavement.

So far good in the rain. Haven’t noticed any changes. I’ve had Cooper AT3 XLT
295/70/18, Nitto Recons 305/70/18 and my now the Nitto Recons 315/60/20
All did fine in the rain so far nothing abnormal noticed.
But I respect rain and don’t drive like I’m in nascar lol or trying to spin my tires.

Tundra1794 once u get used to the 1.75 you will want more lift guaranteed lol
Never heard of a 1 inch spacer in back on a leveling kit. I’m assuming you wanted to keep your rake? Towing?

It rides pretty much like stock. Going over potholes is a little harsher but nothing ridiculous.

@Jinkx you are absolutely correct with keeping the rake although it doesn’t really look like it to me. I was on the verge of buying the Toyota lift until I stood next to one with the lift. It looked great but the RC 1.75 lift with my Recons were the perfect height for me and my 5’ 7” wife. The OEM lift with the Recons would have put it out of reach for her. :D

Tundra1794 were you able to level it out with adjustment to rear bags? Did you have your flares painted and, if so, about how much? Thanks

It doesn’t look like it in the photo but it actually has a slight rake. The driveway is slanted. I have taken multiple measurements to confirm. I don’t have rear bags. The Pro flares are painted to match. I had a few other parts painted at the same time so I can’t say how much it cost to paint just the flares. The shop did a great job but the seal on the flares were a challenge.

A bit heavier at 38 lbs but not bad. 9+30 is a good offset and should be right at the fenders. Mine fits perfectly at 9.5+30 with TRD flares

Your Vossen wheels look perfect. I was looking for lower cost option but maybe it’s worth paying more for a better wheel.

GJJason that’s a lot of poke. Will put you around 2.0 to 3.0 inches depending on what tire you run. Some tires have large sidewall grips so you have to think about that when you’re looking at poke.
    upload_2023-6-21_10-27-26.jpg
here’s a +18. About 1/2 in of tread sticks out but add the side wall and it’s 2.5 inches. Just something to keep in mind. -15 is a lot of poke. All depends what look you want

    OutCast are you off roading?
Only asking because if you’re not that’s a lot to spend for a 3/1 lift. No judging but you mentioned the wife I get it. If you only want 3/1 lift
(Toyota lift is 2.5/1 per Toyota )
you can get the kit and installed for about 1200 and save 4500 dollars. You won’t be able to tell a difference besides the silver upper control arms and red springs.
Hell I’m selling one for 500 with rear shocks in the for sale section. Very low miles.
no I’m not trying to sell u anything. We’ve all been there when we spend a ton of money on something ably to find out later it could have been done a lot cheaper.
I’m Only selling because I put a 4 inch lift on mine.
Again no judgment on anyone the Toyota is a nice kit and is made for someone who’s def off roading not just street driving like me…

Thanks Jinkx, most likely going to be a mall crawler and I know the TRD lift is a little overkill for what I’m going to use it for. Maybe some light trails here and there for some glamping with the family. Probably going with the Westcott 3/1. I found a shop locally that’s installed quite a few on our 3rd Gen Tundras. Thought I could get away with stock suspension, but managed to bottom out on a dip on some back road. Freaked out the wife when it happened. She’s already mad that I spent money on wheels and tires. I’ll just get the lift done and just ask for forgiveness later! Here’s my ride-
