That looks so good! I like the 275's and that lift, plenty of wheel well and shows off the lift/level.

Thanks y’all and it’s definitely nice not having houses next to me that I can pee on from my house. @KroppDuster i didn’t beat beat your time. The sway bar gave me some trouble so it took me approximately 2hrs.

Boo. I probably should've mentioned a pro tip on the sway bar. Disconnect it while on the ground and then reconnect it once you drop the truck. Using the weight of the truck makes quick work of disconnecting/reconnecting it.

Sharing for others now, I guess.

Also...I really like the look of the 275's with the leveling kit. Makes me think about going down to 275's once I burn the rubber off these 295's.

I was thinking the same thing on how those 275’s look…save some weight from my 295’s indeed.

275/70r18 on 18x9 +18 is perfect in my opinion. It’s not too small or over stuffed

I had Pirellis on order but was told may be back in stock April 29th. I canceled order and went to one of the lighter LT tires in the Firestone Destination XT, 275/65-20 on stock Plat rims (which I actually like)
The tires along with moving the AVS height setting has really changed the look of the truck. Ride is still pretty good and don’t notice any sluggishness or much change in gas mileage though I am not threw this tank with the new setup to fully compare.

I haven’t seen any flush , no poke 18”s black yet, or did I miss it?

I wonder if any other tundra model has that or other Toyota model that fits .

I’m eyeing a platinum and not crazy about the grey 20”s

something not heavier than stock would be a winner

Chevy/GMC has the same bolt pattern if you wanted to be so bold as to look for something off their line lol

That’s what I did if there wasn’t a bolt pattern and offset filter. I shared the wealth and used Ram/Titan XD from time to time lol. The issue he’ll run into (imo) is there isn’t a huge market for high positive off-road wheels. He wants no poke so that has to be around a +30 or so for our truck.

You could always get the current wheels repainted or powder coated to fit what you’re wanting. Plenty of folks are running skinny 35’s on the factory wheels no problem. That’s on factory suspension and I believe removing the mud guards

ya, its more of the 20" thing, I would like an 18" if possible. right now I have 18" +35 and its flush on everything except the one rear since we have an off-set axle a bit. sounds like the new one is the same one for off-set

The skinny look it was bugs me the most. The truck looks weird with skinny tires. That’s my only complaint.

I’d prefer a 285 but with a leveling and offset wheels the aesthetics look great. Especially in person. Also to each their own. Some people like 12.5” wide tires on 7” wheels for the bubble look. I love my setup and we’ll see what tire I go with next, I have a long time before then.

those wheels are nice, I like those, I would get a less aggressive tire though,

can you take a down the truck angle to really show the poke? it almost looks flush there but I know =+18 isnt

that slightly bigger tire makes those look a lot better, I have to say. stock is 265/60/20, right?

so how much bigger is a 275/65? are those 33"s?

It is a big tire. 275/65R20 is 34”

    For comparison:
    Stock 265/60R20 is 32.5”
    Most 35x12.5x20 are 34.5”

ok thanks, maybe that works or something in between then, its tough to get it big enough so it looks good but not too big and heavy so it kills the ride (LOAD E) and the MPG.

if I go with the platinum this time around I want to get away from the Load E aggressive and just want a decent size AT or something that looks a little better than a highway tire.

So I've finally made my full decision on my '22 SR5 TRD OF CrewMax in MGM...
Build date is 3/17 so hopefully have it early April.

I'm in Evergreen, Colorado, snows a lot, so I'm with you on the poke and the paint. I want a tiny bit of poke, so just a little more aggressive look.

    Going with:
    295/70/18 - Toyo OC AT3
KMC Grenade Off Road 18x8.5 +35
I've been digging into the tiresize.com offset calculator and using everyone specs in here that have posted to try to dial in what I think would be practical and look great for my tastes. I think I'll get very close to what I want with that size tire and the +35.
    https://www.kmcwheels.com/kmc-grenade-off-road

I do not want a bubble look, like RJ mentioned, so I pray it doesn't have that too much with the 8.5" width...oh sweet baby Jesus please no.

I think the weight is 30lbs, so they have to be very close or lighter than the 20's... I think stock 18's are like 28lbs.

Not sure if this helps, but those wheels probably help you with your flush desire. I'll certainly post pictures when I get it all done.
