I just installed rear seats from a 2011 Tundra in my 2016 Tundra. I was able to pick some up from a guy for $150. They were the fake leather seats but I have the Clazzio cover. I went through a work to do and post photos of the installation when I have made the final adjustments with carpet repair. So if y’all want to go back to the glory days of adjustable rear seats go get some Gen 2 rear seats they will fit.

Yes that’s right it’s the same platform underneath the carpet. It’s easy to fit the seats.

I’d be wary of the front side impact airbags and wiring between Gen 2/3.

I found them on Craigslist by a guy who was a few miles away. He brought the seats and I paid him and went to work researching stuff and found nothing about it

Hi everyone, first post here. Been a member of mud for a while and have a 100 series.. looking to pick up a tundra and wondering the same thing as everyone else. Looking for the rear reclining seat for the kids and other passengers but soon 13’s will be hard to finance threw a credit union.

    back on topic..

I did find that Toyota’s rear subfloor is the same part number for various years:

    https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota__...l-used-for-the-floor/63558436/583110C091.html

additionally looking at some people’s posts on under seat storage for the 14+ models, that added floor height has a lot to do with the foam sound deadening. Look at the attached photo. It looks like the mounting brackets are in the same location just with different mounts attached. If MR T was looking to save a Buck (which he normally does) it wouldn’t surprise me that the subfloor is the same, and they just engineered new brackets for the 14+ non sliding reclining seats.

now as far as airbag compliance or refitting your carpet that’s a different story.

any buddy out there that could measure the hole spacing on the rear seat mounts by chance?

    I just LOL.

Seriously though, I hope the guy's okay. But yeah, we need pics because if this is possible I'd swap my reclining back seats for non-reclining seats.

    Maybeeee.

I’ve done a search and apologize if I missed something. I found a 2013 totaled tundra non crew max. It has leather front seats and a great deal. Has anyone done this swap on front seats on a 2018 crewmax? Is it plug and play?
    Thx
    Mike
