Running 33" Toyo Open Country RTs--not huge tires, but fairly heavy. I generally avg in the 14's for MPGs, but yesterday's fill-up showed that I scored 15.9 on the last tank (gotta love summer-blend fuel). My miles are also 90-95% highway as I live in the sticks so have to drive a ways to get anywhere.

You say that until you see the power it can push out...

17 TRD, 5.7 with 8600miles=15.3-16.1mpg. Mostly city. Only run Shell 85octane. I do kick into neutral and coast when I can. I'm not complaining, love my big thirsty boy. Hell my 16 Tacoma only got 16mpg! Bad performance and bad mileage? No thanks

In 120k and 16 years, The best this '02 has gotten was 20 mpg (on the way to the coast) until last Thursday, on the same route. It's hard for me to believe, but it got 22.5 @ 60 mph. We only have a few hundred pounds of gear this time. I'll see how it does on the way back.

Here you go. You can see from the trip odo what I was getting at the time. This turned into a 1100 mile mostly hwy avg 70 mph'ish. The mileage went down to 18.2 after 800 miles. Around town it is a joke.

I am totally addicted to Tundra Life now!
This is after getting horrible gas mileage when I first got my truck a month ago (8-9 mpg) . Now I am killing it for the last 2 tanks of gas. Super stoked and its running absolutely amazing. Ive been flying across the state of Florida and back at over 80 plus mph many times.

I didn't really hand calculate it but for my first 2 tanks I got 450 miles on the first one and 438 miles on the second one the computer showed 15 mpg both times.

EDIT: I have the 38 gallon tank.
