Hello everyone, when I bought my truck I was not expecting a gas saver but I'm getting 10mpg on the hwy lol (driving 75mpg). The truck only has 1800 miles on it. Does this get a little better the more miles the engine gets? Maybe 14mpg at least.

    10 mpg? :deadhorse:
No, really 10 mpg sounds mighty low to me. I just spent a week on a SW vacation loop from SoCal through UT/CO/NM/AZ, on the freeway doing 70~75 with the AC on, with many stops along the way, some of which were off road in 4x4 with AC on (it was over 100f in some spots). Tank average went from 14.5 to 15.7 depending on the street/highway ratio at the time, and I am happy with that. This is with the 5.7 4x4 in my sig, nothing fancy, upgrades being the added topper and 275-70-18 Cooper XLT tires which are 1" larger than stock (and heavier). Are you towing a large boat or something?? I would have that checked out.

agreed on severely low for reg highway miles.. s/b in mid teens... check that all running gear spins free? accidentally running 4h? manually shifting and keeping in low gear? super large/ heavy tires? let us know what ya find and good luck..

Mine, 2018 4x4 DC 5.7L, averaged 15.9mpg for the first 10k miles of its life. That was with a 3” leveling kit and stock tires. Hand calculated, not relying on the computer generated numbers. I used this app to assist in tracking
