Functional or Lame

Was flipping through a Chinese website searching for TRD stuff and stumbled on these neck pillows. Whether it's for a passenger snooze or to correct something that my adjustable seat just can't cure. Thoughts?

 

Awesome! Provides support to the bottom of your head... yeah, man. I get it.

Thought about something like this. But I've always thought: "Didn't the engineers design the seats in a manner that your head/neck will somewhat protected in the event of a rear end collision and would the pillows affect the way your head/neck bounce against the seat causing an injury?" That's the one thing that has prevented me from buying em.

 

Banggood and aliexpress have tons of TRD junk

 

I'd personally rather the passenger bring a pillow rather than me make them use a goofy gimmick... regardless of how much carbon fibre skin the thing has all over it
