I did it. It's on me. I just bought this truck and when I googled the fuel tank capacity of a Tundra it came back with 32.5. What I didn't see was the fine print that it is only on the Limited edition and above as an intentional disincentive for buying a lower end model. If I'd known that I would have had a serious look at the next level. Caveot Emptor. That said, I don't want to feel like a total idiot for buying a car with a range that is less than my neighbors EV.

Anyone know of a potential upgrade to the 32 gallon tank and what that involves? The Toyota dealer gave me a blank look and a cold shoulder.

Dang, I’m in the same boat. I was hoping to see an answer here. Searched and searched online so far I have not found one

Theres a post on REDDIT. A guy swapped out his fuel tank for a bigger one. Had to purchase an extra strap to hold the tank. Says it works but only with the fuel gauge. The miles to empty still reads as the smaller tank
