I just purchased my 2018 Tundra CM on 1/18/21. This is the only recall notice I see from the paperwork from the dealership. No other recalls noted.

You can pipe your VIN through: https://www.toyota.com/recall for the latest recall information on your truck.

Thanks for the link @Oats87 . I did see the link early on in the thread. All good to know with no current recalls. I'm assuming the dealership corrected any outstanding recalls or warranty work.

As of today, my Vin is still not affected by the airbag or fuel pump recall according to the link in my OP.

Not sure either how other people are getting them done other then a particular dealership had the new fuel pump in stock and just installed it or worse they just installed the old bad pump to rid the storeroom of bad stock and made customer happy for a short time either way this is the most recent update from Toyota which shows we should be getting notices very soon.

I'm liking this. I've got a '19 on deck that the dealership can't release per Toyota Corp but the sales guy gave me an update a couple weeks ago that they were hoping for end of Feb. Looks like they were on track.

I had mine done on my 19 TRD PRO back in September. Driving it home i throw a check engine light. I check the codes and there were two for large evap leak. Hmmmmm. Clear yhe codes take it out for a drive, no more codes. Great. But wait. Go to fill it up at my local BP and guess what. Gas is pouring out under my truck. Throw down some speedy dry, listen to the gas attendant whine, move to a dry spot to look underneath and there it is. The dope who dropped my fuel tank never connected the inlet hose to the filler neck. Outstanding work. When I call and yell at my dealer service dept they tell me they will come pick up the truck and dtive it back to the dealership, fix the problem and drop it back off at my house. So im going to let these morons drive my truck now?? NOT. Reconnected it myself with a 10 mm socket and closed the book on that dealership.

Holy crap, that could have been BAD. I don't trust people working on my stuff either, always double check their work if I can. Just be thankful there was no fire due to that gas leak. All it takes is one small spark.

I have a 2020 Limited that was built in September of 2019. There is no fuel pump recall on my VIN. Does anyone know what the cutoff date or sequential VIN cutoff (VIN sequence) is for a 2020 to fall into the recall? Just curious why mine does not fall into the recall range. Thanks guys!

My 2020 was built in July 2020 and it's not on the recall list either.

Had ours done yesterday. Took about 1 1/2 hours, but they did the 2 TSB's and then also did an oil change and rotate tires.

OK cool. I am just curious of where the 2020 cutoff is. I am thinking that somewhere in the build sequence Toyota started to use the new style pump. Just curious to know when that started to happen. Thanks!

I arranged to buy a '19 DCLB on 10/28/20. Salesman called on 10/29/20, "truck is under recall can't let it go". Fast forward to today, truck has been healed and I'm picking it up Friday. STOKED!

Congratulations! It's been a long time coming, I'm happy to have moved this recall behind me.

Nice that it coincides with supercharging my truck, the truck won't have any open recalls and I'll be able to swap out this new Denso pump with the Magnuson-provided pump.

Funny enough, I had to call 3 dealers in my area until I found one that was willing to do the recall, the first dealer I called said they were scheduling fuel pump recalls into June... kind of ridiculous to be that far out. The third dealership I called was very happy to have me bring it in, and only requested I take it in with 1/2 tank of fuel. I did them a favor and took it in on fumes lol

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked to finally be picking it up. I would have passed and moved on to another truck but need the 8' bed.

Glad you got yours taken care of, I'm sure you enjoy the SC!

I just had mine done last Friday... this morning I drive it and check engine light was on... I though I smelled gas a few days ago... but I've hardly driven it since the recall. Scan tool shows AFB6ACC5-7919-470F-917D-EA234BE70A33.jpg

2019 Crew max 1794edition, dealer called me last week, ordered parts and they were at the dealer in two days, recall done yesterday.
Only thing I hate is having to detail the inside of my truck from the hand prints, foot prints all over the door sill and this time the interior smelled like gas.
Haven’t filled up yet, no lights on from the drive home.

Bill, take it back to the dealer. Based on those codes, I have no doubt that they left a line off or the o-ring that seals the pump housing to the tank is not sealing.

Just checked on my 2020 I purchased in Oct 2019 no recalls, so hopefully they switched to the new fuel pump before mine was made.

This is why I hope they changed to the new fuel pump before my truck was made. Can't trust these dummies to do anything right, I mean how in the hell when changing the fuel pump where you have to remove the hoses, do you forget to make sure all of the hoses are correctly reinstalled that should be the first fucking thing they check.

Mech, I totally agree with you! I am a master tech myself but I got out of the field a long time ago. I still do re-certify though. BTW, what is the build date on your 2020? Mine is September of 2019. I can double check the exact date later. I am just curious to where the cut off is.
