FS : Tool Boxes from 2021 Trail Edition SOLD

Up for sale are a set of tool boxes from the 2021 Trail Edition. I removed them as they didn't work with my tonneau. Looking to get $600 OBO for the pair. Included with the boxes are the spacers for mounting the cargo rail system and two keys for the locks on the boxes. They mount using hardware from the bed tie down hooks and the cargo rail. I'm willing to help with install if you'd like.

I assume these will fit in all 3rd Gen Tundras.

Pick up or meet up near Frederick, MD. Due to the size of the boxes, shipping isn't an option for me.

 

Is the bed rail system still useable after these are installed?

 

I looked at one at the dealer the other day looks like it can be the boxee sit below the rails

 

I think you are the very first person to put one of these up for sale.

 

Will these work with the backflip bed cover?

 

Yes, the rail system is usable. The rail system acts as a long "washer" that holds the boxes in place. There is a flange on the top of the boxes that the rail system bolts through. The tops of the boxes angle down so you can access the rail.

 

I don't think so, without either modifying the boxes or the brackets for the cover. I went with the Rough Country tonneau and the brackets conflict with the boxes. That's why they are for sale!

 

Good luck with your sale, I'm sure someone local will grab those. for $600, I sure would if I were close.

 

I love these tool boxes...….. Now, how to convince the wife about the 600 and the road trip to Maryland???

Will they fit with a plastic bedliner?

 

I don't know. They might if the bed liner is pretty close to the same size as the bed. If you were closer, I'd say come over and we'll see if the fit.

 

Sorry, don't know much about them but couldn't find in the posts above, are these for a Crewmax or Double Cab bed?

 

These are for the Crewmax with the short bed.

What’s the most you’ll travel to meet ? I’m in PA about 2.5 hrs North.

also do you happen to know the clearance between them once installed ? Could you still fit the width of a sheet of plywood ? 4ft +\- ?
