FS: MGM hood bulge

I purchased this MGM hood bulge from @birdman076 back in October for $130 shipped. It is still in the box he shipped it in and I only took it out to confirm it wasn’t broken, never installed it. Doesn’t appear to have any damage, etc. All clips are on the back.

This bulge is still available for sale. I had a lot of discussion with @mgm16trdpro about whether this MGM bulge would match his paint. I guess it’s safe to say... I don’t know. The only way to truly guaranty a match is to have it painted with your grill and blended in to your hood and quarters.

Just to repeat, I bought this bulge from @birdman076 and did not install it. As soon as I purchased from him, I found a deal locally on an MGM grille and bulge together, which I bought and installed prior to receiving this one. It has sat in a box in the garage since October waiting on my lazy ass to sell it.

$130 shipped is the deal. But, it may not match... there, I said it again. Hell, the grill and bulge I bought don’t exactly match. Anyway.... it’s in great shape, it’s MGM and it can be yours.

Kinda hard to get the perfect color match even the white front bumper caps I bought from roman were off a bit but it looks fine to me. GLWS

Yeah this is the thread I was reading and I understand why bc of differences in surface and the way the paint bonds metal vs plastic. Problem is I have a mgm pro that does match perfect, guess I'm just going to live with the scratch I got. Won't be perfect forever anyway, shit it's not already.
I just wished Mike lived closer, I could see in person and if it did match jump all over his deal in a heartbeat. Even if i had chrome I'd take chance, I just rather a perfect match with scratch over flawless non color match. If I had anything but a pro I'd take the chance.

 

From my dealings with Mike I wouldn't hesitate to buy, he seems like a very good honest guy.

 

Thanks man. Last thing I want is someone to be pissed or unhappy over $100. It’s a lot easier to put it all out there on the front end than deal with a back-end headache. I’ve been misled by a seller on this site already and I refuse to do that to someone here. I’d throw the thing away before dealing with that.

 

That's the impression I got from ya which is why if i thought it would match I'd have NO hesitation on taking your word on everything else. U seem like the type of dude that rather sell someone something that they're happy with or not sell at all. I appreciate that and wish more people were like us. Anytime I sell anything I give all the facts n let someone decide for themself if it's a big deal to them or not. Least I can sleep at night knowing I told them everything. Same thing I did when I was in sales for many years. Sometimes I'd talk myself out a sale but least I knew people respected and trusted me, it usually worked in my favor selling them at a later date. Ur a good man Mike don't change for anyone.
