Nice and clean truck. The LED headlights make big difference. Thank you iHacker for your help.

Pictures look great guys! Coming from factory Platinum lights there sure has been a big difference in output. Thanks to iHacker for the harness. Has anyone had to adjust their 18's? My right light is higher than the left, but when I go to make adjustments the screw barely moves one tick before feeling like anymore would break or strip it.

I believe the right side is suppose to be higher than the left side. The driver side is lower so you don't blind the incoming cars. And the right side is higher so you can see further without blinding incoming cars.

Has anyone had a problem with the headlights low beam. It was just fine, but out of the sudden the low beam went off. I had to turn the light switch to high beam, so I could have both the high and low beam on at the same time. If I switch it back to low beam it would stay on for one second and then turns off. All wiring and harnesses are properly connected. Any ideas or suggestions. Please assist. It's really uncomfortable driving at night with the high beam on.

Sounds like a bad motocontrol if the lows work fine with high beams on.

i would turn on the light and wiggle every pin connector to see if any of them is loose. Hope you figure it out.

Check your ground and all the connections in the motocontrol.
If everything seems to be OK then must be a bad motocontrol, I had a flickering problem when installed my retrofit headlights time ago before the 2018 LEDs and was a bad ground in the motocontrol.

Thank you iHacker, vila and inferno for your quick response and concern. I really appreciate your help and guidance. I found blown left headlight low beam 15Amp fuse in the fuse box. Replaced it and back to normal for now. I hope it won't blow again. All my ground and wire connections are good according to the motocontrol and iHacker harnesses specifications. I don't know what went wrong. Thank you guys once again for being such a good and helpful team.

I'm glad you got it fixed, and if you got a chance I recommend you to double check the grounds, that blown fuse isn't normal, did you disconnected your battery when installing all your wiring?

Yes, I did disconnect my battery and it worked ok for several hours after the lights were installed. I checked the ground connections, but they look ok., nothing is loose. Also the DRL lights and the high beam were ok. Really strange.

So just making sure I get this right. So in order to connect the new 2018 headlights to my 2017 platinum I will need a harness from Ihacker and 2 motocontrols?

I’m planning to do a full 2018 conversion so new headlights, grille, and emblem.

Been very busy, finishing some of my harnesses in order for TRD PRO, is 90% plug n play harness, I think I will have to stick with this now since ballenger didn’t want to sell me all the 8 way connectors they get in stock this guy started making the harnesses at their own 2 weeks ago they been very insistent in how to wire the SR5 but of course I’m not sharing anything more with them hahaha, successfully trying to switch supplier they are ordering the 8 way connector and more parts directly from Yazaki which manufacture all the OEM connectors for TOYOTA.

TRD PRO/SR5/LIMITED models work as factory and dim with headlights ON, all the Relay wiring is soldered for more durability and reliability, PMe for pricing and availability.

    See fine print
Your harnesses are the best I seen on here. That includes comparing them to some “businesses”!
I see what you did here. Looks great and looks like it will work perfectly w drl hi/low. If anyone should buy a harness it should be from @iHacker
The fact that he solders his relay connection shows his quality.

:) Thanks for your compliment @BlueBottle I'm very picky in my mods and want everything perfectly done, that's why I'm making this harnesses the best way possible but the problem here is to get the 8 way connector and from a trusted manufacturer, several Toyota dealerships cancelled my orders becuase the part is backordered in the USA. I prefer to stay away from the ones for sale in Alibaba and other Chinese sellers, but in a week or 2 I'm expecting a few of them from Yazaki with my new parts supplier this Ballenger guy was very fishy and I knew he was planning something, but I'm still here to help that's why I shared their link with some guys asking me for harnesses, if they have their headlights at home home already I don't want to delay the install for them due to my lack of parts to make more harnesses.

Thanks to you? They were already researching the parts needed to put these together in the middle of September.

I noticed that they list/sell all the parts that are used in making them except the 8 pin plugs. I will say that I like the gray Delphi 9006 plugs better than the black ones other people are using. The Delphi plugs have the blue TPA locks on the end which hold the terminals tighter in the connectors.
