    No, once parking brake is disengaged it won’t turn off unless you turn off the truck, that’s how the DRL factory system works. There’s nothing I can do with that I just use the factory DRL signal to activate/deactivate LED DRL RELAY

    Do the chrome housing headlights only come on the 2018 Platinums? I was at my local Toyota dealer today and it looked like every truck there had black housings. I’m almost certain I want the black but was curious to see a chrome housing.

    I never use my parking brake (always park on flat ground) so I didn’t check that yet. I’m going to go check now.

    Thank you to all on this forum, and to IHacker for the harness and stand-by install questions - and Roman for the deal on headlights and grill!
    Truck seems 100X better to me lol.
    Unfortunately the gray wire deal was a significant time loss, but it is what it is.
    Routing the cable through the firewall took me forever - thank god for my
    9yr old daughter and some fishing line lol.
    Well worth it in the end.
    Pastidipped the Emblem gray and slapped it on.

    Quick shipping! Got the Morimoto controller today too. Now I just need to bite the bullet and buy the actual LED housings. Ha. I love doing electrical so am looking forward to it.
