I see you did not depin the grey wire from the flasher harness connector, you Posi-Tapped into this wire.

That is correct. I did that in order to keep the amber DRL's.

The only thing left to do is to get rid of the hyperflash. How can I do that?

Not sure as I haven't experienced the hyperflash. Did you repin the turn signal and remove the purple wire where it plugs up to the headlamp housing?

Here's a picture of the completed reconfiguration on the plug. If it's not this, then I would check fuses and bulbs I guess.

A picture is worth 1000 words....I swapped the pink/red and the white and had the hyper flash but the white actually needs to move to the #3 location...not #2

Pink and red keep the same location, the only wire you have to move is the white/black

Yeah is the same, the only difference for SR5 or PRO is we also have a purple wire there but this is the one we have out of the connector to power the DRL lo

I'm going to check all of the connections tomorrow. All of the bulbs turn on. I also had time today to install my new Morimoto XB Fogs, they look awesome.

Yeah that’s a easy fix, the turn signal connector is accessible without removing anything

I got my lights installed yesterday but they don't work 100% right - any help is appreciated...

With the engine off, everything works like it is supposed to.

With the engine on, the DRL's work until I turn on the headlights. When I do, the drivers side DRL goes out completely. when I turn on the high beams, the headlights and the passenger DRL shimmer from normal to a lower level, and back and forth quickly.

I have heard of people getting a bad Morimoto. Could this be my issue?

That’s weird, since your truck is a Platinum your Ballenger harnesses have zero intervention with DRL, I suggest you to check connections for the Ballast and High Beam plugs, I’m not sure wiring colors they use but the plug going to the ballast side have 2 wires I guess one is white (ground) and the other is green (positive), and for the high beam plug is just a single wire in the positive side maybe blue or not sure, check this connections to see if they aren’t placed inverted

And also any info in what you did with the pins swap in turn signals only Your wire position were like this before any mod

    F232CE7E-386B-440F-B931-B13BDA397A45.jpg

And after pin swap must look like this just had to move the white/black from center to that spot with a black rubber plug

    IMG_0106.jpg

Your LED DRL plug is plug n play nothing to do there

Ill have to double check the harnesses - I am pretty sure I plugged the one with 2 wires into the high beam plug. I wasn't sure which one went to which one since they weren't labeled, just took a chance and plugged them in the same way on both and they worked before I reinstalled the headlights all the way back into the fenders, but I didnt go through starting the truck and running through all the different lights individually. The directional plug wires were swapped just like in the pictures above.

Yes check that, the high beam plug just have one wire in the harness and the other with 2 wires in the low beam or Ballast in the motocontrol this is the same in driver and passenger side

Finally got around to installing the 2018 LEDs in my Tundra last week. Definitely wouldn’t have attempted this without the harnesses from @iHacker – He makes a fantastic harness and responded quick with all of the questions I had - I had an issue with getting my VLED V3 Triton turn signals that I was previously using to work and his advice was spot on.
This mod was definitely worth it. The lights look great and the LEDs are just as bright as the GTR Lighting GEN 3 LED bulbs I had been using and the light pattern looks more focused and not scattered.

Thanks to @Roman for the black Friday deal on the headlights and thanks to @iHacker for everything else!

Hi, I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra and I want to install headlights and foglights of a 2018 LED. I live in Longview, Texas do you know any place close to here that can do all of that work?
