I wouldn't listen to these guys man, especially @bandit , he has BO. @Sean266 likes to show his BOSS kit to young men and they awe at it. Weird.

I would rock a pro comp lift or LT truck. They have the most complete kit on the market. The only reason their cast kit broke was due to jumping 65'.

Oh, one last thing, video is a must on first outing. I like entertainment.

All shenanigans aside OP, these guys have you some good advice.

If you buy a budget system, you get budget performance at best.

I will comment on this after I drop off my Tundra today to get a new front differential and how my buddies Jeep came in yesterday all messed up and what I did in 30 min to make it good again.

    OP,

I'm not going to get into what I did to my buddies King shocks, but my advice to you is go mid-travel since you do not like fiberglass fenders. Buy a good MT system and you will be more than happy with the results...probably more happy. LT lifts, if done right cost a grip of money and if done half ass you will be really disappointed with the results.

    My .04 cents...

Everything's been said already in the thread. But this......all this!
Pro-crap kit is complete fucking garbage.
    • Cast arms instead of fabricated or forged.
    • Fucking ball joints...ball joints! When uniballs go bad, you get squeaks. When ball joints go bad, spindles fly off.
    • It's procomp after all. Made in China with Chinese materials and Chinese operators.
    • Shocks are shit. "Massive" 5/8" rod. Please. Kings come with 3/4" or 7/8" shafts that have a minimum 100,000 pounds per square inch tensile strength.
    • 14" of travel with a 2.5" over kit with 35" tires. Whoopity-fucking-do. I cycled a short hair over 13" with OE replacement Kings and TC UCAs...and 35's with a hell of a lot more money left over for hookers and blow.

Working during the day, wrenching on the soccer mom short bus at night.
The hoe-runner is regeared to 4.56 now, dual ARB lockers, a pair of ARB roller drawers, and I finally cycled the rear suspension for shocks (and ordered 12"x2.5 King triple bypasses). Fucker can flex

    Custom beezy!!!!
Had to have them build with a welded rod end instead of threaded. Specific bypass tube and resi port clocking and a 25" hose.

Why did you go welded vs threaded?

Needed a shorter compressed length. Welded gives me an extra inch shorter so I don't have to hang them so low off the axle.

Learn something new every day. Good option if needed.

I was wondering how you're stuffing those huge ass shocks under there. Lol. It was hard enough on a damn Heep.

I was drop testing my junk today. And it was nice and smooth.

I love doing that. When I rebuilt the rear of my tacoma, my buddy lifted the ass of the truck as high as his fork would go. And then he went reverse as fast as he could. Wished I would have video'd that.

Jason, when are you going to take suspension builds seriously? At least be more direct/specific. To the point, so there is no doubt what you think...................................I'm old and easily confused. :deadhorse:

Info "out there"? Info is right here. As in you for example. Grab what? My balls? You have a larger $ tree than me. Who the f**k wouldn't want rebuild able shocks, and everything that goes with that? For what it's worth, where I went today with my Tundra, the OME's were just fine. Maybe after a couple of years I'll make that next step up to Raptor beater suspension or close to it. Actually I will. ("With a little help from my friends" que in Ringo).
