I've had it for a month sitting in the garage. Worst part was getting all the shipping stickers off! (I ordered from Sparks and it arrived banged up and covered in shipping tags...)

Man, you guys are doing this wrong.

Sit down with the Mrs. and discuss finances and what is ok to spend without approval. Our agreement is up to $200 without needing to discuss anything.

Anything over that, I squirrel away lunch money, sell things on CL, and have everything shipped to your work address. When questioned "oh, that thing! I had it in the shed for years and finally decided to put it on" or "oh, that thing! Yeah, I just took it off and repainted it".

Lol... Just kidding. Actually, I have a wonderful wife that knows that I can be impulsive at times and it's not often that I forgo things I want. As long as we're paying cash it's all good.

Talk with your spouse and be up front and you'll be amazed at the results.

I remember 1992 my wife was pregnant with our first. It was right after the AT&T ProAm and a buddy called saying "Hey, let's go play Pebble Beach!". My wife was standing right there (pre cell phone days) so I say "Hey Hon, Liver wants to go play Pebble, what'ya think?". She says "Well, if you want to play it now would be good because I really don't see you spending $200 on a round of golf after the baby gets here."

We actually made a weekend out of it with our wives and had a great time.

Haha ya we actually have that agreement with spending under a certain amount requires no discussion... Even tho that is in place if I buy something large but under that $ amount I still get the stink eye lol...

I have also done this hahaha so that was funny to read!!

I love my wife she is the best thing to ever happen to me! She is very understanding... most times... not so much with the truck T^T we dated for 13 years before getting married and we have been married for 3 years now... So I def understanding being up front about it... After the baby comes ima have to like ban Tundras.com so I can keep from spending money... haha

If my wife knew how much I’ve spent on my truck and tools I’d be in a dog house forever.

The only lingering question I have regarding the behavior of the truck is during braking. Do you guys feel that the nose dive went away or significantly improved after the install? If you are about to do the install please make a note of how the truck feel before and after for braking. That would be greatly appreciated.

The tools you buy save the household a TON of money by not having to sub things out, right!?! That's my argument at least.

Also, if I have to borrow or rent a tool twice it gets bought the next time I need it.

    FYI...Everyone
There are three different type of these front bars.
    48811-0c020...Toyota Tundra 07-18 $ 105 w/discount wt approximate 15lbs (seller Info)
    48811-0c030...Toyota Sequoia 09-18 $ 125 w/discount wt approximate 19lbs
    PTR62 0c180...TRD (Red) Front Bar $ 186 w/discount wt approximate 29lbs
Note: The Sequoia and TRD bars are not the same items. I found this out the hard way by buying the part # 48811-0c030/Sequoia bar.

I don't believe so. It doesn't take much off, but something is better than nothing. Especially since I'm burning my money in front of Roman.

Edit. I stand corrected. And I'm not good at math.
