Ordered the TRD front sway bar from @Roman today. @Roman, any idea when it might arrive? Thanks.

Installed this beauty this afternoon. Arrived in almost flawless condition, luckily the skid plate hides the imperfections

So how was the drive after install. I am contemplating on getting one installed before the supercharger. I drive my truck like a sports car so this mod might help.

I'd like to know too. Can't seem to find anyone commenting on the handling improvements...I hope the difference isn't marginal at best.

I've only driven it a short distance so far and with another Nor' Easter on the way it is safely parked in the driveway. I had already upgraded to the Sequoia front bar last year so I can't compare it to the stock bar. I will say it is a bit heavier than the Sequoia and it's red with a TRD decal,so what's not to love!

It's not going to be a drastic difference. Keep in mind adding a rear sway bar, especially one like the TRD, where there wasn't one to begin with is going to be very noticeable. Changing a front sway bar for a slightly different one won't be as noticeable during normal driving conditions. You'd have to be very familiar with how your truck operates during a tight corner at speed, then notice the difference after the front TRD sway bar has been installed.

@Roman, Received my TRD Front Sway bar today and have already installed it. It arrived in perfect condition with excellent packaging. It looks great and appears to be more heavy duty than the original. Thanks for the fast shipping and packaging.

TRD rear sway bar, console organizer, stubby antenna, LEDs for cabin, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights, power-fold mirrors, Westin nerf bars, full stereo upgrade. Future - color-match grill surround/bulge, mirror caps, handles, plasti-dip badges.
Sub'd. I'd like to keep an eye on this as I may want to do the front sway bar and the TRD shocks to stiffen up my Limited a little bit.

I recently installed the front TRD sway bar. As others have said, I only noticed perhaps a slight difference from stock. I noticed a much bigger difference when I installed the rear TRD sway bar this past summer. Not really sure the TRD front is worth the $$$. I will be on the highway and traversing several on and off ramps a lot this next week. I will report back if my initial reaction changes.

It does look nice, I will give it that, and that "TRD" sticker sure is LOVELY! But you can only see it when you turn the wheel completely to the left or right.

Finally got mine install after having it repainted. Couldn’t use the poly bushings I ordered due to the height difference so I’ll have to make a spacer eventually.

    Thank you @Roman !!!

Mine was a little beat up with scratches on both ends but there was a good effort in the packing to prevent that... No complaining here, great price and it looks great on the truck... Looking forward to ripping around tomorrow to see if I notice a difference in the performance.

So how is the ride, report back please..
I drive my truck like a sports car but don’t like how it handles at high speed on the highway. Already have rear sway bar, U think TRD front sway bar will help a little?

I am installing mine this week, looking forward to providing positive seat of the pants feed back and loads of data (yaw, pitch, roll, lateral G's, skid pad, shopping-cart slalom and a possible high-speed police chase).:militarypress:

This TRD front sway-bar better be all its cracked up to be, more to follow!

So I got to rip around with the new sway and it IS stiffer in the corners.... Like it's on rails. I have the TRD PRO suspension too as well as Ekstrom designs @Coachbuilder1 tie-rod kit so steering is tight and very responsive. Overall, I like the improvement of the BEEFY TRD front sway, and after removing the stock feather-weight sway, I just feel good about the upgrade... Truck feels better built. Improvement is slight, but it is an improvement.

I did put about 100 highway miles on the truck this weekend. I'd say there is a modest improvement, especially noticeable on on and off ramps. It's not a game-changer like I'd consider the rear sway bar was, but I think it is certainly an improvement. While it doesn't handle like a BMW sedan, the truck definitely feels a little more solid up front, if not a little more harsh or a ride (which I expected).

Question, you are feeling that the general ride is a little more harsh? Wouldn't think that the sway bar would have the effect.

It’s not dramatically different. But the beefier sway bar allows for even less articulation than stock.

I'll give my impression after about 100 miles of driving on it. I definitely notice a difference when carrying speed into corners; the truck stays flatter through the turns than it did. I don't believe it's done anything to handling from a ride perspective when you're cruising down the road. It may be more noticeable on lifted trucks though but I'm just guessing. When you weigh the cost vs. the result, I'm really happy. Especially considering how easy this is to install. I did have to finagle it a little bit but you can have this installed in 30 minutes tops if you get lucky aligning the holes.

    Thanks Roman!

Mine doesn't have a front skid plate but my 2008 did. While removing the skid is a PITA, it's still a relatively simple job. I can't imagine this taking anyone more than an hour unless they have something much different than myself.

It only requires two sockets (17 & 19mm I think). It's easier than changing the oil IMO. I have a 5.5" lift and I can take corners now feeling more like I would slide than rollover if I was going too fast. That's easily worth the cost of 2 sway bars for me.

I will definitely get one. I have a 3 inch lift and don't like the way it corners and how soft the steering gets at 80-90 mph.
