    Afternoon everyone,

I recently acquired some stock tow hooks off the forum as my truck did not have them. Well I went to look at the truck today to prep for the installation and it appears that with the TRD skid plate I installed when I purchased the truck I will not be able to mount the tow hooks without modifications.

My question is which tow hooks will work with the TRD skid plate or is there an adapter or bracket out there I can use to make the factory ones work?

They should fit with the skid plate. You have a picture?

There seems to be about a 1 inch gap in between the skid plate and the frame rail. Is there a spacer I need to fill that gap? I'll snap a picture in a bit.

There shouldn't be a gap...I added a TRD Pro skid to my TRD Limited and the tow hooks fit...sounds as if something isn't right...

Check the front two bolts and make sure they are in the threaded holes...if they aren't seated and tight, then that could keep the front of the skid plate from fitting properly...otherwise, I can't think of why you would have a gap...

I'll have to check it out from underneath when I get off work. Sounds like something isn't right then if there shouldn't be a gap...I should have known

My skid plate is like @TRD423 I'm guessing I'm going to have to unbolt the whole thing to find out why there is a gap.
