Front CV axles for 2.5" lift

    Yeah their budget axles don't have good reviews. I opted for their "best" axles with silicone boots and they have held up perfectly since 2020.

    Just about always always always go with OEM my dude. Just had my driver-side CV axle replaced a couple of days back and opted for OEM over a $120 less alternative. It hurts the pocket but better than having to do it twice :D

    No Shit. Thanks for the heads up Man. I am about to spend a fortune on a front and rear gear set up from ECG and am gonna order a set of OEM reman axles Stock with heavy duty hose clips.

    I believe the Silicone boots are only on the inner portion of the axel. The guy at CVJ said they do not install them on the outers because they have a greater risk of tearing due to road debris/branches ect. Glad to hear your outers are holding up tough. Maybe they changed the material used at some point.

    I think the OEM boots are plastic and that's what CVJ uses on the "best" option.
