I hear you! After my last alignment, my tires started hitting my skid plates at full lock in reverse. First time it happened I swear I thought my whole axel, suspension, etc got destroyed. Scared the crap out of doc. LOL

Man, trust me it's hotter than a Carolina reaper, but I always wear a hat or something cause I sweat so much it stops it from dripping down my face.. lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That's right.. Vegas Native... I was born in 120° weather lol not really. I was born in January. It was actually cold I'm assuming

Finish it with a metal file. Get rid of the sharp edges so you don't cut your finger when you wash your truck. Or the next dude who removes a tire.

Now that I fixed the front run part.. I was leaving parking lot last night and full reverse and heard this tiny run sound.. looked at it.. it's barely running the plastic lining on the inside part, not outside. Heat gun maybe?

So it's hitting the plastic right next to the cab mount?

Yup.. thought it was there Front, which it was cause it was making a loud ass sound hitting so much metal. Now that's taken care of, it's slightly touching the plastic now.. it's barely scrapping it

If it's hitting right there... I'd take a utility knife and cut off the red plastic area. And maybe grind the blue metal area.
