I to traded my 2018 taco in on a 2020 tundra. Big power is nice to have. I can climb hills on the highway in 6th gear. Lol

Yes the tundra seems to drive effortlessly compared to the taco. I like the truck more and more everyday!

I sold my 06 regular cab taco this week and bought a double cab Tundra today. I have a feeling I won’t be missing the Tacoma! Going from the 2.7 to the 5.7 is like upgrading from a bicycle to a Harley.

Haha, that’s a big jump. Congrats and I know you’ll like the power and room of the tundra.

They really screwed up with the engine-transmission combo. They don’t belong together.

I used to have a second gen Tacoma with the 4.0 and 6 speed manual. Dealer gave me a 2019 3.5L Auto 4 door/4x4 Tacoma for two months while they replaced the frame on my second gen. In my opinion the second gen blows the 3rd out of the water. Loving my tundra though.

I’ve never driven a second gen but a lot of people who have share the same opinion. It would be great if they gave us an option to have the 4.6L V8 in the Tacoma. I enjoy my tundra every second I’m driving it, I cannot say the same for the Tacoma.
