Always enjoy seeing the popup rigs, we always keep one around; but the mini-me rear door is a deal breaker. At 6'5'', I couldn't do it, hell my 5'1'' wife wouldn't.

Mine didn't have a tonneau cover but it's a tight fit. You're going to have to do some measuring or ask over on wanderthewest.com I'm sure someone over there will know.

Took the tonneau cover rails off cause it only gave me about 1/2” on each side, could prob leave on and I might try that next time. With rails off, it was so easy and fast to get on.52BDFFFD-7FB0-4933-86B6-219E46FD566D.jpg

Got my 2019 4x4 used last week, went back to oem Toyota rims, I like better with silver of truck, put eye bolts in yesterday, Firestone air bags, put camper from 2006 tundra on and took to get wiring done this am. She’s all loaded and ready to ride. Just need to take Jack stands off.

Picked up my Four Wheel Camper on Tuesday. Really pleased on how the color combination turned out. The shorter length of the RCSB will help out on tight trails.

Anyone with FWC project M, found a resource that make a bug nest tailgate entrance to keep the bugs out?

Y not use mosquito netting over your rear. We did that on a 78 truck with a topper and worked great

    Baja Guided Trip

I have the last ticket for the Baja guided trip with Bob Wohlers of Offroad Safety Academy. I can no longer join. It is October 22-29, and you’ll be with 10 other vehicles sleeping on secluded beaches every night! The ticket cost is $1400. Bob is legendary for his trips. I did one in Utah, and it was fantastic.
You’ll pay Bob directly so no chance this is fraud.

@Legend33 this looks so good! I've been very interested in the Project M lately >> mainly for the light weight on the crewmax. How are you liking it after a few months? have you built out anything on the inside?

I'm loving it so far, still building out the interior of the camper and now I know what I need and will redo the interior build for next season.

Overall, it been amazing and serves it purpose for my needs.

FWC M and a Gazelle have to be the quickest, easiest camp set up of all time. Nice!

    Thanks!

The current power setup will be replaced with a 200aH batteries, along with a 3000w inverter.

With the current setup its only 98aH even with 300w solar panel sitting on top of the camper keeping it charge, wasn't enough juice to power all the accessories that I want.

Once I get the new setup install, I'll get some more pictures.

your power panel, is it anchored onto the L tracks inside? I want to do a similar design , but I did not opt for the L tracks . still time to change if need be.

Okay guys stop liking my post with my FWC, I sold it and it makes me kinda sad every time someone likes it haha

As much as a I miss it, I do love my new Topo Topper setup. It suits how I use my truck more (I use the bed of my truck too consistently to have a camper in it) these days, and I do appreciate being lighter for off roading. Might consider a Project M if we can ever find one used for the right price, I miss having the sleeping bed perpendicular to the truck bed.

picking my Project M on the 29th going on the 6.5foot bed. after careful consideration and review on power options I just went with a single 500watt panel on the roof ( still need to install it once I get camper) and went with this https://www.anker.com/products/a178...-power-stations=undefined&Sort_by=Recommended to power it all. there is a sweet 500 off ish deal if you are a veteran. I also got a set of these https://dasmule.com/collections/awn...ur-wheel-camper-arb-awning-brackets-pre_order for those who want a easy way to mount a awning to their project M without having to spend thousands for factory outer tracks. I picked up a arb 2.5 awning as well, bedrug and custom mattress. I will post with an update when it all unfolds soon. have to get it ready going to death valley NP for 9 days in april.

I heard that some 1st gen double cab owners are putting spacers or slim drawers under Fleet campers due to fitment issues with our beds. Is anyone here doing that? How much height will I need?
