I want to install the Fortin Evo remote start and the Fortin web site recommends the TOY5 harness and also shows the TOY2 harness as compatible. The TOY5 harness has more plugs as shown in their pictures.

Has anybody installed that particular remote on a 2018 Tundra and which harness did you use? Does your truck open with the H-key remote once running?

    Thanks, Hans.

I also noticed this back in January, but Fortin took the toy5 off the list for the 2018. Is there any news of a new harness that requires cutting fewer wires?

They only have TOY 2 for the 2018, that’s what I used and is working just fine with my truck. They had TOY 7 at some point but they took it down , TOY 5 works with the 2017 models
